Well packaged. It has held up great unopened in long term storage and works well. Helps my breads rise nicely and they come out so nice and soft, so flavorful. This yeast is great for pizza dough too creating those air pockets. I highly recommend!

Excellent performance.

I had no idea what to expect from this yeast. What I got was absolutely beautiful bread that rose just as it should have. I used the exact amount of this ACTIVE dry yeast as I would have with my INSTANT dry yeast. Only difference is I put this yeast straight into my flour and followed my recipe. No need to proof before mixing. I will buy this again when I need more. After opening the package I put this yeast package in a plastic bag then in another and placed in refrigerator for storage. Oh, and as another reviewer mentioned this is package being "hard as a brick" well it is but that's only because it is vacuum packed. The yeast is fine.

I first picked up on this product during the pandemic, when store shelves were empty. Our first pack lasted over a year, with careful storage (double bagged in the freezer). Now that the stores are stocked, I still rely on this product's quality and durability.

The yeast arrived in good shape, with the vacuum seal intact. Got the bag open easily and immediately made some bread! The bread turned out great. The yeast worked, no issues. This was the best value available when we bought. Our local stores are all totally sold out. And I saw other sellers selling the little 3 pack for $10. For a whole pound, this was a great value for $10 and should last a year in the freezer. I was nervous about buying yeast online but now I have no regrets!

I am very happy with my order of Fleischmann’s yeast. The yeast is very fresh with an expiration date almost two years from now. The ingredients in the yeast ( yeast, sorbitan monostearate, ascorbic acid) are exactly the same ingredients listed on the small brown bottles of Fleischmann’s I typically purchase in the store- same yeast, larger quantity! I was very pleased that my order arrived five days after order was placed.
