Comfortable, longer VR sessions, a must have upgrade!
I'm a first time VR'er but comfort is very important to me. This Kawaye fits most comfortably and is easy to install. I especially like the left to right adjustable cross strap as opposed to the front to back velcro, with the front to rear strap, when you tilt the headset upward, it loosens, with the left to right strap, it stays right where it is, giving the support needed, also makes a nice handle for moving the device around. The head strap holds firm and the material is soft and doesn't retain moisture. You hardly notice the added weight in the back, and for a retired soldier who wore a heavy uncomfortable helmet for 24 years, that means a lot when it comes to neck and shoulder strain. None of these straps has bothered me yet and I've had them on for sometimes 8 hours at a time. As with most head and body gear worn, there is usually a moment of releif right after you take it off, these are so comfortable that you hardly notice. I am also able to wear my glasses comfortably without the face plate putting any pressure on my nose bridge. Even though I have ordered the prescription inserts for the Quest 3. The battery's do last a while longer, haven't timed them but it's very noticable that I've been using the headset for a while and it hasn't beeped at me. When it does, the battery is easily replacable without having to take the headset off and perfect time to take a break from the VR world as well. It does take a bit of hand training to be able to swap batteries with one hand, but gets so much easier over time. I had a minor problem with one of the batteries and there customer service was top notch and expeidient with there solution to my problem. High praise to there quick and reasonable resolution. One thing I wish they would add or change and that would be to have a pass through charging port underneat the back side of the batter holder, as the cable would be out of the way for when VR games call for a lot of movement around the head area, a cable down the back would be out of the way. Otherwise I love this upgrade and all it's features. If it breaks down the road a bit, I would not hesitate to purchase another. Way to go away for keeping the gamers best interest in mind. Look forward to browsing some of there other products.

This head strap has been a total game-changer for my Meta Quest.
This head strap has been a total game-changer for my Meta Quest. The comfort level is a huge upgrade over the standard strap — the large support pad distributes weight evenly and significantly reduces pressure on my face and forehead. I can play for hours without discomfort. The hot-swappable batteries are the real highlight. Being able to swap batteries mid-session without stopping is incredibly convenient, and the extended battery life easily supports long gaming sessions. The build quality feels solid, installation was straightforward, and everything fits securely. If you use your Quest regularly, this is absolutely worth it. Comfort, battery life, and design all exceeded my expectations.

The Truth
This head strap with the battery pack makes a huge difference. The weight balances out perfect now, no more front-heavy feeling that digs into your face after ten minutes. Stays comfy even after a couple hours straight in Beat Saber or watching movies. The battery gives me an easy extra 3-4 hours without hunting for a cable or plugging into the wall. Adjusting it is simple, just flip the knob on the back and it locks right where you want it. Feels sturdy, nothing creaks or flexes weird. Putting it on and taking it off is way faster than the stock strap. My neck thanks me every time I play. Worth every penny for longer sessions without the headache.

Batteries are good…need the right plug.
Head strap is ideal for my 11yo Update: Okay. Batteries are not faulty, but they take a looooong time to charge. The charging cable does not come with a plug so initially I used a spare plug kicking around in my junk drawer. That plug managed to get both batteries charged in about 36 hours. Tried a different plug that I use to charge a portable work light. That plug got it down to about 8 hours. You need a good high power plug. The 1 star gig is because they don’t supply a plug designed for the supplied charger and they don’t tell you what plug you actually need. These batteries charge the units battery. They aren’t an “independent” power source. They begin to trickle charge the units battery as it is used. So if the units battery is charged and the head strap battery is charged she gets several hours of use out of just that charge. She has never managed to deplete both batteries in a single day.

My son finds it very comfortable while playing on Meta quest 3 VR. Good battery life. Perfect fit.
My son finds it very comfortable while playing on Meta quest 3 VR. Good battery life. Perfect fit. Easy to adjust. I have tried it as well, and it works great and very comfortable. One concern, it makes the VR a little bulky. Good buy though. Will recommend to anyone looking to buy this.

Worth the buy
My son got this as a replacement. He said it works great. It is comfortable. It stays in place and is durable. Sweat retention he says that is good.

Good, but issues
The dials you turn to size this is a great addition, but the internal gears are plastic and slip if you like your headset to be tight. I play a lot of motion intensive games and can’t get this as tight as I’d like. It also makes it so you can raise the headset up, but you can’t lower it. I’d like to lower the headset so the cushion on the back sits lower on my head, it’s just not an option though. I can kinda make it work by adjusting the top so you can pull it down more but it just still kinda sits awkward on your head. (For reference I have a pretty big melon). Installation was pretty straight forward and easy to do, took less than 5 minutes and I was up and running. Overall it’s not a bad little unit and adds a considerable time to your game time. For most people I’d say it’s a good buy. If you have a larger head though you may want to find something with a better fit.

The battery is amazing when one battery dies the other is good to go and never had to charge the headset from wall charger. But the strap is bad quality it has tilted right it make wearing the headset uncomfortable I had to open it to re adjust the strap you would need a very small screwdriver

Update: after about 3 weeks, both battery wouldn't charge up past 20%, even if left overnight, so I have revised the rating (originally gave a 4 star) and I have no choice but to return it.. Original posting: The headset on this is not the most comfortable (compared to Aubika for example), but it had better battery life than the Aubika one (which I had to return). It comes with 2 batteries which you can swap, each seems tp provide about 2 hours of charge. The charging button works well - like 1 press to turn it on and 2 presses to turn it off, except that it works as it should (unlike the aubika one I tried). The headset seems flimpsy and plasticy, but still, it is comfortable to use for a hew hours without any problems at all, but it is not the msot comfortable I've tried (which is why I rated it at 4 instead of 5 stars). Still, I am happy with it because the battery works well.
