Once I'd worked out how to thread the cord the shield is effective and is comfortable to wear

The plastic shield was fine but my one criticism would be that the elastic could have been longer. There is an adjuster for the elastic so there was no reason why it could not be longer. Much easier to be too long than not long enough. Unfortunately the elastic cut into my forehead so I simply cut it off and used sticky tape to keep the shield in place which sort of defeats the purpose in the first place

Bought it to wear over my eye at night to stop me rubbing it post cataract surgery. I found the strap uncomfortable across my face so I taped it on with surgical tape instead. It was comfortable and I slept better knowing my eye was protected.

Very good to use after cataract surgery. Seems like exactly same dimensions and material as one given by my hospital. Much easier to use than tape. Tape gets sticky and leaves marks. No assembly instructions, but obvious to thread free end of the free end through the lens, and tie a knot on the front facing part of the lens. One in the hole on inner part of lens and one in the top outer hole of the lens (depending on if left eye or right eye).

The item was very sharp and cut my nose when i put it on. There was a piece of plastic to small to notice. I do not think this product is fit to be sold.

Had eye surgery recently. This product is a lot better than the shields and sticky tape that the hospital give you. Easy to put together and comfortable to wear throughout the night.

Bought to wear at night, for first week after cataract surgery, as was due to have both eyes operated on, withing a month or so apart. Edges a bit sharp on both shields...not what I expect for shields right close to eyes......but easily filed smooth by me...but, still, I shouldn't have had to. My real problem with these on using, is that the cord provided (which loosens and tightens according to need, to get a secure fit) is not robust enough, even with very careful, gentle use. On one eye piece, the cord mechanism (attached by me as doesn't come threaded through) broke on first use, which was very annoying, but for the price, I couldn't be bothered to return. On the other eye piece, the cord worked ok for a few nights but then, I woke one morning to find it lying across the operated eye, causing pressure on the eye, as the cord moved whilst sleeping.....not great! So, overall, if you want to use these and tape them with micropore over your eye, they are fine (once you file down any rough edges) but if you intend to use the cords system, I would advise being careful if you are post cataract op.

Bought these for upcoming cataract surgery. They worked well except they were pretty tight so elastic could have been a bit longer. Months later they came in handy again when I had an eye infection.

This product was so much better than the shields they give you at the doctor's office that you have to TAPE to your face. Ugh! This is so much more comfortable and stays in place with the little strap.

Bought these so I wouldn’t have to tape the cover on my face after cataract surgery. String is too short for most people.. hard to attach so that it didn’t squeeze face.. very uncomfortable .

It's a little bit tricky to put the shields with the elastics together but as soon as you make the adjustments fits perfectly. Just make sure the top elastic goes outside the shield so it doesn't put pressure on your eye and the bottom elastic goes inside which this one will touch your bone cheek.

Got these for my post cataract surgery. Just right! Easy and comfortable.
