This compact light is versitile and handy for EDC. It's small enough for pocket. It's got a strong magnet but the clip makes it more versatile. I've used this little guy working on my Wifes Truck resto under the dash. The red light option is great to save your nightvision. Overall, a bright light w/ white / red light options make this a very versatile and compact EDC. I gave these out during the holidays to my bosses at work. We live in a rural area of Texas, so a great EDC for barn chores and chasing wayward animals in the winter' mornings. (btw I got a handsome Christmas bonus! I can't blame it on the light , but they were impressed with the gift, nonetheless!)

I bought the OLIGHT Oclip Rechargeable EDC Flashlight thinking, “Cool, a tiny light I’ll probably lose in a week.” Well, joke’s on me—this thing is so bright it basically found me before I could lose it. First off, it’s small. Like, I’ve lost bigger crumbs small. It clips onto anything: your pocket, your hat, your backpack, your life choices. And yet somehow this miniature glow-goblin blasts out enough light to make me wonder if I accidentally turned on stadium lighting. I turned it on in my living room and my cat squinted at me like I’d just summoned daylight indoors. I clipped it to my hat while taking out the trash at night and suddenly the raccoons were shielding their eyes like paparazzi caught them doing something illegal. Honestly, I felt powerful. Rechargeable? Yup. Easy? Yup. Bright enough that I need to warn my neighbors before using it? Also yup. If you want a flashlight that is tiny, mighty, and slightly concerning in its ability to illuminate EVERYTHING, buy this. You may never need another flashlight again. Or sunglasses.

This little thing rocks. It’s surprisingly bright and has a white, brighter white, and red light option. The handy clip is great to attach to a shirt, hat, or in my case molle webbing for a plate carrier. Simple, compact, and a great EDC option. Charging is fairly quick and I’ve never been disappointed with any O-Light I’ve had.

I walk my dogs at night and was looking for a product that would give them some light and make them visible to any oncoming traffic. I tried several clip-on lights that were advertised for walking or running and they were underwhelming. They added a bit of visibility to my dogs but didn't provide any meaningful light for them. I have bought OLIGHT products before so when I found this product I had a hunch that it was going to be perfect. These are very lightweight and the clip is very secure. I clip a light onto each of my dogs' harnesses and they stay on with no issue. Not only do they keep the dogs visible but they provide ample light for the dogs to see what's around them. They also have a magnetic back so they can be positioned and used as work lights, too. Battery life is surprisingly good for the size of the product. I charge mine every 2-3 days and that gets us through several walks. I've bought more than one of these lights and have had no issues. Everyone that sees them is amazed by the size and the brightness. I carry one with me all the time at work now, it's such a great tool. Bottom line, if you walk or run late at night or early in the morning this is the light that you need. They clip onto pockets, harnesses, or leashes and stay put. They are truly handsfree. My advice would be to buy more than one as you'll quickly find plenty of uses for them.

Ahhh.....ok..... NOW I get the hype about OLights. This is my very first Olight, but it will be one of many. As soon as I unboxed & got it into my hands, I could just FEEL the quality. This thing is a precisely machined & beautifully designed instrument. Very impressive! The form factor is extremely unique & convenient; I've never even seen a similarly shaped / designed light for sale. If you are looking for any sort of a clip-on light, this is your light right here...look no further. The clip is surprisingly strong & robust, and the addition of quality & perfectly placed ridged rubber pads on both sides ensure it stays PUT wherever you clip it! I'd love it if they released a larger version with an even deeper clip / ability to clip onto even thicker items. The UI is a bit confusing at first - or maybe that's just my ADHD brain, but I got the hang of it & really like it. The memory function is absolutely superb, for both red & white lights. You single-click for white light, double-click for red. If you last had the light in red flash mode; from the off position, a double-click of the button will take you back to red flash. If you last had it in red solid mode, a double-click of the button gets you back there. And yes, the memory persists (hence the name) for both red + white; even if you used the opposite color light in the interim..... very slick. If I was forced to pick a few nits it would be: - "Moonlight" isn't. I find "Moonlight / FireFly" modes to be the single most useful output mode on any flashlight. When you are in a very dark place and simply want to navigate around (campsite / tent / bathroom in a dark house), you will sear your retinas if you turn on 100 or Heaven forbid 1,000 lumens. I absolutely love Moonlight modes. It's the perfect amount of light for 90% of situations for me personally. - I wish the "moonlight" mode on this OLight was LESS bright; it's advertised at 1.5 Lumens, but feels even higher than that. I wish it actually was a true 0.5 Lumen moonlight / firefly. Make firefly dimmer, please, OLight. - I wish the white light was less of a spot and more of a flood. The light has a very prominent hot spot - even in "moonlight" mode - and on a light like this, it just seems strange & out of place. With this light, I want to illuminate my path, the general area I'm in, etc; not shine a spotlight on anything far away with this light. More flood & less spot would be awesome. - The red light - oddly - is exactly that; an almost perfectly uniform little flood-y wall of red light; zero hot spots; just a gentle flood of red light. (There are FOUR Red LED's, vs. ONE white) - I wish the white light was exactly as flood-y as the red. - This is more of a comment / observation, and might just be me personally, but; most of the time when I go to turn this light on, I find myself getting confused between the USB Port Cover and the actual button. They are almost identically sized, and perfectly symmetrically opposite from each other. Perhaps move the USB port to the bottom of the light, or at the opposite end of the light, instead of directly opposite from the on/off switch? - The battery port cover, by the way, is also exquisite; it's again perfectly machined / produced, and has a very nice, perfectly fitted, seemingly durable silicone / rubber port cover. It's the type that has a little stem holding it in; you can pull it up & all the way out, and rotate it completely out of the way of the USB port if you so choose! Just give it a gentle tug & rotate as you are pulling it. - The little grip nub on the USB port to help you open the charging port is obviously a tactile point that my fingers feel + again get confused which is the switch. Many times now I've found myself frantically pressing the USB port, and wouldn't you know, the damn light doesn't turn on! Other than that, this light is absolutely amazing. These are just very minor observations / preferences & I rated this 5 stars; didn't deduct any points for any of these. Oh, I totally forgot; not only does it have a gorgeous clip; it also has a hole in the clip so you can attach a retention cord / lanyard, etc., AND it's magnetic....!!! This really is an amazing little light & I'm tempted to get a couple more.
