I'll start off with.. best buy for what you get. This was the first time ordering furniture off of amazon. My wife and I have a very fair sized living room. She wanted a lift top coffee table as it would act as a laptop table / eating table if she wanted to munch and watch some Tv. This table is great. It showed up with damage to the box which frankly had me worried. Upon opening it I discovered absolute flawless packaging. Stryofoam and soft foam protecting everything, there was zero damage to any of the pieces. As for parts and assembly it was very straight forward. For any beverage lovers out there it took exactly 2 adult beverages to assemble and admire the table. Instructions were great. All tools needed for assembly were provided and included spare hardware. Once assembled and brought home ( Wife's birthday gift ) it fit perfectly with our oversized sectional ( I purchased the larger varient as i knew our sectional was roughly 5 feet to 6 feet sitting space long. ) As for the depth of the storage area , under the table top provides awesome storage. Can easily fit board games , controllers , books , you name it. Easily even tissue boxes. It has a good deep storage compartment. The cubys underneath are also great for storage or decorative item display areas. When the table top if lifted it gives optimal leg room with our sectional, We have no problem sitting down with our legs under the top and not really having to hunch over to use the laptop or grab our drinks or munchies. The finish was beautiful and fit it really well with the handcrafted and finished furniture i had already made and stained for our living room. Over all I would certainly recommend this table to anyone interested just be certain of what size of table you want for your height width and legnth. Quality is cheeper but you could never tell when fully assembled and in use. Get compliments all the time and we even bought matching side tables from the same company after purchasing and using this table. Hope this helps anyone interested in purchasing this table! I love my table!! It looks just like the picture and was really easy to put together. It’s the perfect size for our family room and I love that I can store things in it. I haven’t had any issues with it and it’s pretty sturdy. I would definitely recommend.

I’ll start with the cons since there are only a few. >The stickers don’t like to peel off >The second last piece was a pain to install >The last piece (top) was an absolute nightmare - the allen key couldn’t do more than a 1/4 turn so the bolts kept falling out, the springs were in the way, the bolts wanted to go in sideways - everything that could go wrong did. It was odd. >Much more charcoal grey than black >Top requires balanced and even pullout and push back - could be damaged if not done carefully Pros >Solid, heavy, sturdy >Excellent quality >Straightforward instructions and easy build >Expensive appearance >Nice wood grain look >Metal frame has nice tack welds and no sharp pieces >Comes with the all the tools you need (you don’t need a drill) >Inside top storage is easily accessible and can fit so many games >Bottom storage can fit games, baskets, photo boxes, albums, books … anything, and lots of it I highly recommend Vasagle products. I have a side table and several tiered shelves by this make and they are all beautiful pieces. I’ve never had trouble building any of it except the top piece of this table. Still recommend!

The instructions were clear but, left off critical information. Best advice for others, dry fit the pieces BEFORE locking it down. The dowel pins were not the right size and fit loosely in the pockets for them Using the cam locks this helped tighten everything up. Ideally the wooden dowel pins should be tight! and using wood glue secured in place. Missing the #10 bag of screws for the decorative wooden bar between the table lift brackets. Found a couple in the spares bag. Had to scrounge around for something to work on the other two screws. Mounting the metal rails be careful not to crimp the tubing! Most folks will use a battery powered screw driver. This will damage or even strip out the sockets if you are not careful. Pros: 1. Turned out nice and sturdy 2. Items were packaged well some damage during shipment to boxing. 3. Assembly took 2-3 hours Cons: 1. Missing parts (only 2 screws in my case) 2. Instructions without clear pictures of Front or back 3. Some cases forced to use Allen wrench provided or stripping of sockets can occur 4. Although tools supplied for assembly missing one tool in my case. Larger Allen wrench 5. Shock cushion/bumper for lift spring arm unclear where/how this should be applied. Special Note: There are many more Cons in this scenario. Just know some of these are trivial and only provided for others to learn from. The instructions and cheap materials really should be addressed. (This would be a 5 star candidate if these are addressed)
