Spec check... A.O.K., a nice thumbs-up on this 12V 12Ah LiFePO4
Whether you're looking to power your kid's toy, auxiliary power for camping, or trying to put together a UPS, shopping for batteries can be a pain. While putting together your own UPS might require reliable specs, more so than toys or camping, everyone should feel it's reasonable to receive what a seller claims in their ad. In a nutshell, this battery nicely ticks all of the boxes. So, let's get to the deets! The battery arrived holding 13.24V, which is pretty typical. It received a full charge and I let it sit for 30 minutes before load testing. .2C test performed, which basically means you attach the battery to a load equal to 20% of the rated amp hours, which in this case is 12Ah, thus 2.40 amps. This battery did very well. There shouldn't be a steep curve in the discharge. Still, here's the hourly breakdown, so you can see exactly how well this battery held above 12V. The results over the five hours: At start, no load voltage settled at 14.3, connected to test equipment and within 5 minutes, voltage settled to 12.9V Hour 1 - 12.8V Hour 2 - 12.8V Hour 3 - 12.7V Hour 4 - 12.5V Hour 5 - 12.0V And beyond - Voltage dropped to 11.9V at 5hr 10min. Since there's a BMS (battery management system), I always let the test run so I can confirm the over-discharge function is working. The battery continued to provide power for an additional 30 minutes. The manual shows the over-discharge limit is set at 10.4V, however the BMS cut off at 11V. I have no issue with this. Battery protection is in place and functioning, which will contribute to longevity and prevent some of the irreversible damage that can happen in this type of battery. As expected, the voltage dropped from 12.0V at 5:10 to 11.0V at 5:30. Test was completed at 63°F, roughly 17°C, and the battery stayed cool to the touch. Beside the over charge and discharge functions, the BMS also provides over-current and short-circuit protection and high and low temperature protection. I don't experience the temperature extremes where I am, so I don't test for them. The user manual provided is quite good. I'm including a picture of a page showing my test matches the manufacturers curves. I'm glad to own this little power source and will put it to good use in a portable UPS I'm building. The price at the time I ordered it was $44.79, which is very close to what I see it's selling for at the moment. That's a mid range price for a 12Ah 12V LiFePO4, but it's actually pretty inexpensive for one that ticks all of the boxes, so it's a definite 5 star value, from my perspective. I have no way to quickly test the claim of 6,000+ discharge cycles. That puts it in the range of 10+ year batteries. Good stuff. * Note the picture showing the test equipment shows the voltage at the start of the test. Both the multimeter and the load device read 12.9V, but the LED display pulse makes it difficult to capture what the eye actually sees, which was 12.9V and 2.40 amps.

Meets amp hour specification, great compact battery
I'm going to use this for garage lighting at my off grid camp. My needs are pretty small and this is just the perfect size for this application. Have been disappointed with the life of lead acid SLA batteries, this should be maintenance free. It comes with the best manual I have seen with a lithium battery giving all the charts for discharge rates etc for those who are technically minded. The internal BMS makes this a foolproof battery preventing over charge and discharging too deep. Overcurrent disconnects battery till load or short removed. Pictures show the AH and voltage at that time till the battery disconnects. Discharge rate was 3A. Last picture shows it took 11.99AH to fully charge and disconnect from charging. #1 4.10AH 12.8V #2 6.0AH 12.7V #3 8.0AH 12.5V #4 11.12AH 11.9V #5 11.88AH 10.8V I was going to include a video of test procedure and do a second test. Unfortunately, in moving wires around an errant wire slipped into an opening in the power meter case and zapped the factory programming pins. This was an expensive test for me! This is a good battery that meets the specifications.

Ask questions about series connections before purchasing.
Would have easily given 4 or 5 stars if I had only purchased one battery instead of two. 1 of 2 batteries has worked flawlessly as I have tested my theory prior to this review. # 2 of 2 has shut down due to its ( BIM ) which is it's on board safety monitoring system. ( BIM = BATTERY MONITORING SYSTEM ) Based on 3 times which i have personally tested. Mfg's are fairly smart , or so they think. Once the onboard system detects a so-called issue it reverse the battery in-operative until the condition that triggered the alarm corrected. Eg : 1 of 2 batteries used in the O.E.M product manual for a series connection. In this type of connection , It would fault out every and anytime one of the batteries show any deviance in battery voltage of one another. A poorly designed and possibly as simple as a poor calibration of the two batteries which if used in a series connection should have been given a much much more scrutinizing calibration process. Enough said.

Terrible longevity — died after a couple of charge cycles
I was really hoping this battery would be a decent budget LiFePO4 option, but it only lasted a couple of charge cycles before failing after about a month of use. For something sold as a rechargeable battery with long cycle life, it was very disappointing to see it fail so quickly. Would definitely not recommend based on my experience — save your money and get a more reliable battery from a better-known brand.

Seems ok - charges fine and fast enough
I don't have a whole lot of tools and gauges with which to test this battery, but I've charged and discharged it 3 or 4 times now and used it seems to perform sufficiently well. I decided to test it on one of my Christmas trees to power several strings of LEDs. LEDs must pull more amperage than I thought because the inverter I was using with it shut off the power after an hour or less as the voltage had dropped down to past the shut-off. I was probably running 5 strings of lights and the little fan on the inverter itself so I'm sure that chewed through the small battery capacity pretty fast. I was originally thinking of using this to power a mobile 2-meter radio from the middle of nowhere but now I'm thinking I probably should have done a little more research on how much capacity is needed before grabbing this battery. All that being said, it seems to function just fine.
