CCTV Camera CCTV System DVR NVR Sata Hard Drive 3.5" SATA Surveillance Storage Hard Drive (2TB)

I purchased on of these as i thought the disc drive in my parents CCTV DVR had broken. Managed to install it OK in their unit, that one was fiddly to do. That one was returned as it wasnt the hard drive it was the reorder that was damaged. The hard drive in my unit stopped working after about 6 years or so , so i repurchased this hard drive. It went into my unit much easier and is now working effortlessly. The drive feels good quality, i suppose it will depend on how long it lasts, but if it is anything like the last one, i will be happy. Good value for money at £22. All recorders have the same uniform fixings so this one should be a good buy for anyone looking for a replacement.

Received promptly. The drives were nicely packaged in sealed conductive bags inside a bubble wrap jiffy bag. Drives were Seagate Pipeline 2 1TB. Smart data reported 3hrs usage, zero relocated sectors. I used a PRNG wipe using ShredOS to verify no errors and performance ~95MB/s. Excellent value for money.

Bought this for Swann Camera module 4480 DVR which came without a hard drive. The product was well packed and arrived on time but no mounting screws were supplied so had to take from an old PC. Easy installation. The product states 1TB, actually is only 931MB. I get over 2 months worth of recording. Hard drive is quiet and playback quality is good. If it wasn't for the two issues I would have given a 5 star.

Good quality will use again

The hard drive in my home camera system gave up so bought this to replace it. Needless to say it was easy to swap, all connections fine and it booted first time and formatted as requested. Now a few weeks later it all seems fine and very responsive. One thing, i didn’t realise how noisy the old one was until i got this, i got used to it whirring away in my office but this one is silent and i have to check before i leave to make sure it is working (it is). Very pleased!

Unfortunately i purchase a hard drive and sent it back thinking it was faulty but 8t was the cctv system i bought from zosi do not buy from zosi the review's on their cctv system is all exactly what I'm going through. With mine not working. The hard drive from this company was perfect unfortunately I've only just found out is was the zosi CCTV system that was faulty not the hard drive.

I installed it according to instructions but it will not record or show storage area or format so I think that the problem lies with the FLOUREN DVR's that I purchased a few months ago from AMAZON they only show the red power light and no hdd light when they are installed so it seems these DVR's have no hdd power source installed? I have also tried another dvr purchased recently and still no recording from the dvr to the hdd ? I have now tried 5 hard drives and 3 Floureon dvr,s and another dvr and I have had no response fro Floureon except a video upload of how to install an hdd into a dvr which I have done several times exactly as per instructions and still no results well and truly pissed off now, I purchased a different DVR and it works very well so it proves the Floureon DVR,s are not compatible with most surveillance HDD,s so BUYER BEWARE

I bought this for my 500gb storage for my cctv set up on my allotment to catch the thieves and vandals of which i have actually caught a few, i can store lots of photos and videos on it, great price too and it was very easy to fit in the unit i recommend it

Festplatte ist kaput, leider habe ich das 3monate später bemerkt da ich sie vorher nicht gebraucht habe. Schade das die Rückgabe Frist abgelaufen ist.

Arrive early. Easy fit. Working great, pity the camera DVR started throwing codes & was unable to work with this in a practical way
