One of the best business books I have read in quite some time. Happy to hear Maria's struggles along the way and candor. Success is not an overnight event and this book solidifies the ups and downs in starting and running a business in a very real way.

I found this book to be an informative read. I loved the advice shared in the "secret" portion. That part spoke out to me more than the other portions. Although I loved the come up story, I was more interested in hearing the struggles before the "Shine." Overall, this read was extremely motivating. It made my mind run wildly full of creative ideas. As an entrepreneur, I recommend reading this book to get an outlook of another entrepreneurs startup!

I think I went to this book with a great expectation from the title and the summary. I went through this book looking more about that difficult beginning of starting a bussiness but what I really have read is about how to manage a company. This is a great book, for those that have started a company and need advise of this process. This is NOT about HOW TO START A BUSSINESS. OPINION: And in my opinion the author is sometimes cruel about how she express about her employee, she want them to give more than the schedule time for them but is more than willing to fired them the moment the company do not have enough money. I think she miss the point to see her employee as people, she see them as thing, like a computer.

I was happily surprised by this book. Bought it to learn more about Rodial and learned so much about staring a company and being a go getter from Maria. She is funny, knowledgeable and entertaining. If you are thinking about starting any business I consider this a must read

Very inspiring book if you’re looking into starting your own business. She gives you the ups and downs of what she went through while building her business but also reminds you of the success at the end!

One of the best books, I have ever read !! I have only one question after reading it. Where were the kids all the time? Maria doesn't mention them at all. She writes, she gets up at 6 a.m., then goes to gym and the to work. She is mom. I think, this is a huge challenge: to be a mom and to be an enterpreneur. So who brings the kids to the kindergarden or to school and makes a breakfast for the. As I am also a mom, this point is interesting for me: how to be a mom AND a successful enterpreneur at the same time.

Amazing book bought it for my friend and she loves it and I read it too love the lessons and pointers on starting a business and how to keep it and make it successful.
