This Is The One
This is my first gaming PC after using company provided laptops for work as a software engineer. I searched high and low for a prebuilt gaming pc to use for work and gaming. Ultimately decided on this one mostly based on the looks and specs for the price. I was VERY pleasently surprised at the quality of this gaming PC. Novatech went above and beyond with this build. UNBOXING: I was a little worried about it getting damaged in shipping but Novatech went above and beyond with extra layers of foam, double boxing, even expanding foam inside the case so that the internals dont get shaken loose. There were helpful stickers pointing you to the correct ports to plug into and reminders to remove the protective foam inside. The box itself was very clean and "apple-esque". Overall a very plesent unboxing experience. CASE: The case looks premium sitting on my desk, easily passes as a $1000+ pc, fans have this cool infinity mirror effect that I like, along with a solid button to change colors. Internals look great too. I love that they used black cables with combs instead of the typical yellow wiring mess some other PCs have. Very satisying to look at. Can definetly see myself upgrading the internals later on and keeping this case around for a while. SETUP: Setup was pretty easy. Once I removed foam inside, plugged in the power connector, flipped on the power supply switch and pressed the power button, it booted right up to a fresh Windows 10 Pro Operating system. No bloatware, got to set it up exactly as I wanted. PERFORMANCE: This PC way outperforms its price point. The xeon cpu and 16gb of ram handle all the work and games I throw at it. Especially when Im running 20+ tabs in google chrome or any of my programming apps. Doesn't skip a beat. The RX580 is more than enough to run my favorite games smoothly. Im am consistently getting 70+ frames per second in GTA 5 and 100+ in Minecraft hooked up to a 1080p monitor. Also tried editing some 4k video that I recorded with my phone and this gaming pc breezed through it without an issue. The 512GB SSD lets me store all my games, media, work projects and boots up the computer almost instantly. INTERNALS: Since this is a center piece on my desk it was important that this PC looked good through the glass cover. I'm very pleased with how clean the wiring is inside, most of them are hidden or cleanly routed, very nice attention to detail. The GPU is a very solid size for a RX580 and has a cool carbon fiber cover. The CPU coolor looks great too and matches the RBG theme of the other fans. This PC runs quiety with no overheating. Overall very good looking PC. SUPPORT: I had a small question and decided to email Novatech's support. They got back to me right away with just the answer that I needed. Glad there is a good support team behind this PC. FINAL THOUGHTS: As you can tell from above, I am VERY satisfied with my first Gaming PC from Novatech. I have been recommending them to my friends and coworkers ever since. So if you're looking for a good looking gaming PC for some casual gaming + work around this price, this is the one.

it is what it is
TLDR: Great system for 3 cents under $500.... Don't expect to build it up in any way shape or form. It is like buying an Xbox, don't open it or you will break it.... Great for kids game system, or office workstation, Bitcoin mining system. Expensive door-stopper. What is actually in the BOX? Ask tech support, and they will say the vague description on the box are enough for you to make upgrade / purchase choices. So here is what HWinfo has to say about it. Warranty: 1 year if you do not remove the screws on the case, but you need to do this to remove shipping packaging, sort of a cruel joke really, buy the Amazon insurance so you can return if the shipping breaks anything. Mine came perfectly fine, in 2 well packaged boxes. OS: Microsoft Windows 10 Professional (x64) Build 19045.5011 (22H2). Motherboard :NOVATECH H61, Chipset: Intel H61 (Cougar Point), SATA drivers broken, no way to fix without factory drivers, no download for drivers, so reinstall of windows impossible. No obvious way to adjust the fan lights, so not optimal for bedrooms, might be annoying in living rooms. Processor : Intel Xeon E3-1230 V2 codename: Ivy Bridge-WS 4 physical cores. Socket H2 (LGA1155) Pro's.... Great if you are a streamer for retro games (pre 2010). Good multitasking, very fast and cool running. Nice big fan for air cooling, but facing the fan behind it blowing the hot air back at the processor rather than exiting the case. Con's.... Not compatible with some high-end games. RAM: DDR3-1600 / PC3-12800 DDR3 SDRAM UDIMM, only 2 banks, Clock 800 MHz, some small generic sticks that look like they came out of a 1995 Dell. Memory Speed: 800.0 MHz (DDR3-1600 / PC3-12800) GPU: AMD Radeon RX 580 2048SP (Polaris 20) [AMD], 8 GB , PCIe v3.0 x16 (8.0 GT/s) @ x16 (2.5 GT/s) Pro's: This is a workstation card for professionals, and losers living with their parents with big dreams. Con's : This card needs to be manually tuned, or it will fry the card, like some of the other reviewers are reporting. Turn tuning on, and advanced fan control to manually activate the card OR THE FANS WILL NOT OPERATE AT ANY HEAT. This should be on the unpacking instructions. I turn off AMD silent fan feature for common sense reasons. ( seriously, you can't hear it over the case fans, even at 100%.) AMD audio drivers do not like the motherboard, and stay uninstalled, you will need to pipe any audio from the sound chip via RCA cables- 3.5mm headphone jack , or Bluetooth sound device. Network adapters : Realtech on the motherboard disabled from bios for some reason, ships with the smallest USB v1.0 WIFI adapter I have ever seen. No brand name reported. Buy this unit only if you like the current configuration. The motherboard is "homemade" and drivers are not currently available anywhere but from Novatech ?. The system is up and running but SATA drivers will not be obtainable so hard drive or SSD SATA drives are not available for upgrade. Adding or removing drivers will result in the system not booting. So safe mode, restore point are needed to restore system. The motherboard was from some shop in India, so Linux users might have better luck with this system. Plugging in Anything to the USB ports on the top of the unit will make, so the ones in the back will not work, so currently only 2 working USB ports on top or 4 in the back..... your choice. Some game stats: Fallout 4 = Ultra, 12FPS..... lowest 45fps.. High res pack breaks Fallout 76 = 55fps Skyrim AE = 30-45FPS Fortnite = 30-60 fps, might be frame locked. GTA 6 = Only playable in single player, Battle eye anti-cheat crashes any online attempt. 45-60 FPS Valheim = Vulvan version only works.... impressive 100-250 FPS Hitman = 20-60 fps

Great investment, did my research and I can't complain
So far, I'm loving it. Been running it EVERY DAY since it arrived, in a tight and well protected case. Took no time to start it up and get rolling. Performance is as expected with what I was looking for, mid-level gaming computer. The colors can be changed; although I have to pus hall the buttons to figure that one out, no manual at all, which is slightly odd, but ok. WiFi connection which was one of the biggest things I was looking for, is a solid 85-90%. I can't give it anything, past 90% because I have been dropped a few times, but that could be my AT&T fiber optic as well, so they get split blame. Still offers great gaming capabilities, just keep the wifi thing in mind; you might get dropped once every 100 matches or something. If you want to shed any doubt, just use an ethernet cord or an upgraded wifi booster and that fix it all. Solid build, nothing looks cheap. Going on three weeks, hope this stays true.

Did not work on Christmas Day.
This unit did not work out of the box on Christmas Day. It took her father a week to get around to helping by checking he components. He confirmed that both the tower, and the monitor we got separately ,did not work. It was very sad for my daughter, and a HUGE disappointment for us too. It looked so good in the product description. Also, the unit we received stated (inside the box). That it was refurbished. We did not pay for a refurbished CPU. The product description says nothing about the unit being refurbished. So, an all around disaster.

Great item in it's price range.
This computer is great for the price hard to beat. I have had no issues and so far everything is good and works just fine.
