Was trying to download from retro DV camera, no luck to date but not any pronblem with lead.

I bought this to ship to a friend so he could transfer data from a 2008 iMac to 2011 iMac. It was cheaper to have this new cable bought and shipped from Amazon to my buddy than if I bought an envelope and paid the USPS to ship one I already have. Anyway, I walked my buddy through the process and he was able to transfer the files using Target Disk Mode with no problem.

Only 1394 port I have is on an ole Windows Vista laptop. It has the 4 pin female. The Sony camera is also a 4 pin female. Cable is working perfectly. Need it to convert a number of 8mm tapes to digital.
