Spigen Tough Armor Case Compatible with Samsung Galaxy S9 Plus - Black - 6.2 inches

I am very happy with this case - it feels very well made and solid. It fits the S9+ perfectly and it isn't as bulky as I had feared it might be. I think it would provide decent protection against a drop so I certainly wouldn't want to be without it. The sides of the case drop away sufficiently to not obscure the curved screen edge design, yet the screen is well protected because the top and bottom of the case protrude enough to protect the screen when the phone is placed (or dropped!) face down. If I had to be picky, I would say that the power on/off and volume up/down buttons on the sides would be better if they protruded slightly or had a different texture to the rest of the body (as the Bixby button does) so that they are easier to locate by touch in the dark or when the phone is in a pocket and the music volume needs to be adjusted. Also, the kick stand on the back works fine and locks into place flat when not in use, but it does feel rather flimsy. Overall though, these are minor points and don't detract from what is an excellent case, so a very solid 5 stars from me.

Great case with a premium feel and simplistic looks. Rock solid and holds the phone perfectly in place. This is my 4th Spigen case, and will definitely not be my last. My last case had protected my Galaxy S7 for 2 whole years without leaving a single mark on the phone (it still looks brand new!) I'm very clumsy with phones and always appreciate the hard work my tough armour cases have done to protect my phones. This case is very similar to my last, with great functionality and all the buttons feel very tactile and well defined. It is also easy to differentiate the Bixby button to the volume buttons. Not that I use that pointless button. Believe it or not, the 'kick-stand' is quite useful too. I am a bit dubious on using it, as I'm unsure to whether it'll break easily or not. But overall, an entirely positive review for a great case. I recommend this case to anyone who would like to protect their investment of almost £900!

I have been using this case for a many months now and love it to bits. Pros -slim fit/does not add much bulk to the phone. -Feels good to hold without the worry of it slipping out of your hands. -surprsingly study for a case of its size with great protection from the drop I have made so far. -The price is great for the quality of case. -Helpful stand -works with my glass screen protector -ports and speakers still easily reachable -easy to insert and remove phone from the case. Cons -Stand it a little flimsy and broke both at the hinge and the plastic after a year of excessive use. -The viewing angle with the stand could be better. -no port protection. This is an all round good product that I highly recommend for all s9+ owners.

I am a fan of Spigen cases and I'll continue to buy them if I change my phone again, they're subtle yet stylish and Dont take away the feel of the phone too much which is nice, they also offer great protection for your phone which is the most important thing. The reason this particular one doesn't get 5 stars is simply due to the stand, Im not a massive fan, I got it because I knew if I didn't need it I didn't have to use it, however it feels flimsy and weak, it clips into the case well which is satisfying to play with but that not really the point haha, it can only be used in landscape mode and in this mode it fully supports the phone and makes it stand. When portrait it falls over which is expected when you look at the design I just don't see why they didnt put another tab on the other side so that you can use portrait mode whilst using the stand, it would also allow users to choose the orientation of the landscape mode. Besides the stand a really good phone case I would definitely recommend.

This really is a great case, I had previously purchased the Torro leather flip case for my S9+ but it just made a big phone that much bigger and bulkier so gave up on it after a week. So I turned to a more simple gel case and extremely happy I did. This spigen case is light protects the screen reasonably well and is very comfortable in the hand. The flip stand I thought was a bit of a gimmick until I used it first time to let my daughter watch cartoons and its actually a brilliant bit of design, and holds the phone at the perfect viewing angle. I can't comment on durability yet so may write a follow up in a couple of months, but all in all I'm pleased with the case and believe it will go the distance, its exactly as described and can't really think of any negatives.

After my 16 month old decided to throw my old phone in its standard case around the floor one too many times, finally succumbing to it's destined end, and subsequent new phones arrival, I decided to buy this case for it in the hope that it might just last longer than a few days....I'm pleased to say that after my phone has inevitably been chucked on the floor (usually due to adverts interrupting the classic samey beats and pretentious perfect family b***ocks of cocomelon that my daughter adores) the case has kept the phone ALIVE!! Hurrah. I know what you're all thinking "why is she giving her child her phone anyway, if all she does is launch it"....for those of you who are thinking this, you clearly don't have children, or at least children that you need to keep quiet and occupied to get the simplest of jobs done! This case is brilliant. Phone saved from constantly being launched about the house, and child (mostly) happy and occupied.

Great cases as usual. Only ordered as I dropped and broke my previous case, no damage to the phone though.

O Material é bom,porém com seu uso os botões laterais tanto do lado esquerdo volume e tanto lado direito liga e desliga ficam super duros, comprometendo a sensibilidade ao toque,por vezes preciso apertar muito forte para acionar, minha capa anterior que durou 4 anos e também era de uma fabricante tão boa quanto tinha uma ótima sensibilidade ao toque,então eu já deixo a dica,se você gostar de um toque mais suave essa não é uma boa capa,mas se você não liga pra isso e quer somente segurança para quedas ou tombos,então vai te atender.

軽量かつ薄い素材なので、手に馴染みやすくとても使いやすいです。触り心地も◎です。また耐久性もあるので、スマホをしっかりガードしてくれます。また指紋も付きにくく目立たない素材なので、汗っかきの自分には助かっています。見た目も安っぽくは見えないので、とても気に入ってます。

Update: I’ve been using the phone with this case for a couple weeks now and I have to say it's been great. It fits in the hand quite well, and the design has really grown on me. Some people have complained about the knurled texture on the Bixby button, but I like it because it makes it easier to tell it apart the volume buttons without looking. I also have an app that rebinds the Bixby button to do other stuff (because seriously, nobody uses Bixby) so the button hasn't gone unused on my handset. The kickstand seems to be working great, although only in landscape modes. You can clearly tell from the product imaging that it couldn’t work in portrait, so that’s not really something to complain about. We’ll see in the months to come whether the kickstand will break, which I still think might happen. The case fits around my IQ Shield screen protector (their case friendly version, should come up with a quick amazon search) without touching it, so no worries of peeling edges. Speaking of edges, the lip around the case does make it safe to set the phone down on its face without the screen touching the table. I haven’t had any trouble with touching / swiping near the edge of the screen either; the lip is recessed on either side (so if the phone is sitting face down only the top and bottom edges of the case will be touching the table below). Original Review ______________________________ TL;DR: This is my first Spigen case, so I can’t speak for their quality track record or customer service, but judging from other reviews I expect this’ll be a winner, especially for the price I was able to get it at (only around $16 US). The product packaging was simple and easy to open. Mine arrived without any damage, and with the relative flexibility of the slim box and case itself, I wouldn't expect yours to arrive broken either. The case looks tough enough for daily use; I wouldn’t expect to toss my phone off balconies and second story windows and have it survive, but if I did, I would’ve gotten a much heavier case. I’m usually protective of my phone, so I never bother spending massive amounts of dosh on big thick cases. This feels like it’ll be a good balance of protection and not making an already massive phone any bigger. I’m not sure how well the holes on the bottom will accommodate larger USB and 3.5mm connector jackets (for example, the 3.5mm jack on my ATH-M50X’s is quite large), but this is the first thing I plan to test when I get my phone. Also of note—many phone cases cite being MIL-STD-810 certified, however this is a very loosely applied standard, and doesn’t really mean much. Search for 'MIL-STD-810' on Wikipedia; there's a section specifically talking about how the rating applies to consumer electronics. About the kickstand… It says directly on the box that the kickstand is meant to balance the phones weight to stabilize itself—makes sense. However, I doubt I’ll be able to balance the phone in a portrait orientation with the kickstand because it’s offset so far to one side. Being offset, though, works to provide two different angles to prop the phone at in landscape mode, which is nice. I think if anything will break on this case, the kickstand will come first. The plastic pins used for the kickstand hinge are absolutely tiny, and I expect they will easily wear down over time, or just snap off. I’m also dubious of the plastic snap-type latch for the kickstand, I’ve had kickstand cases before from a few brands, and if the hinge didn’t break first, the plastic latch wore down and allowed the kickstand to come open and flap around freely. Overall, it's hard to complain with the otherwise quality feel of the case and its lower price point.
