It allows daylight to pour through beautifully while still delivering the desired effect. One of my favorite aspects is that it is permanent until you choose to remove it, making it ideal for what I call temporary art installations. Yes, it is perfect for renters or anyone who wants flexibility without sacrificing quality. Also if you're a perfectionist, you can peel it off and start over. This particular installation is in my kitchen. I created a stained glass trim along the top of the window for visual interest while fully coating the bottom portion for privacy. I live in a condo with a catwalk, and an elementry school aged child regularly walks past my unit on the way to her home. I coated the lower window completely to provide a discreet, respectful, and practical solution to prevent awkward or unintended visibility during private moments, all without blocking light or making the space feel closed off. This works amazing

I love this product, it’s so easy to apply and it gives a really convincing glass effect. Dries fairly quickly to the touch as well. Although it seems a little expensive I believe it will be be enough product for many projects.
