This is a decent microscope for basic needs, but the camera adapter that it comes with does not take very clear pictures. I kept this, but I would definitely have to buy an upgraded camera for this.

Unless you are already familiar with using microscopes don't buy this one. It did not come with instructions of any kind. It also came with a CD to load software for the eye piece. My computers no longer have a CD drive. I could not find a "Chinese" web site to download the software. I am sure that eventually I will figure it out but I am still really disappointed in the product support.

Pretty good for the price

The microscope works well but unfortunately, the power cord sent with it is not the same as pictured and is of poor quality. This was a gift for my teenage son and the first time he unplugged it ( less than 4 weeks of having it) the metal tip broke off of the cord rendering the microscope unusable. Im waiting on a response from the seller for a replacement cord. Update: The seller did replace the power cord. I will add that the neither the original or replacement cord was the higher quality cord as pictured. I wouldn't attempt to plug and unplug unless necessary. If it breaks again, I'll invest in a better cord.

I have only used it a couple of times so far, but it works great! As others have said, the instructions are a bit vague, and finding the software is near impossible. I’m a Mac user, so most everything like this is difficult to find. Pros: • Very sturdy • Easy setup • Clear images¹ • Well worth the price!² Cons: • Vague instructions • Software included, but on included disk • No model number anywhere.³ • Lensing Oil should have been included.⁴ ¹ For the two lower magnifications, you get great image resolution. The two higher resolutions need lensing oil, otherwise you won’t get clear images. ² I have been pricing good microscopes, and they run from $1,000.00 on up. ³ In my search for software, I could have really used a model number. I searched everywhere on the microscope itself and on the Amazon listing, and it didn’t exist. ⁴ Without lensing (immersive) oil, the two higher magnifications are useless. Adding oil to the included accessories would have been a good idea. All in all, this is a great microscope for someone getting into microbiology, or just looking at bugs!

Super Mikroskop, mit vielem Zubehör. Praktischer Koffer.

Das Mikroskop ist mit seinem Zubehör sein Geld absolut wert! Das Bild ist hell und scharf. Die Verarbeitung ist gut und stabil. Man muss allerdings noch ein Fläschchen Immersionsöl kaufen, damit man die höchste Vergrößerung nutzen kann. Die angegebenen 5000x Vergrößerung ist nur rechnerisch möglich, realistisch ist 1000x. Das ist aber nicht schlimm, ein solches Mikroskop kann im Grunde nie mehr leisten. Das Mikroskop macht Spaß und ich kann es gut empfehlen!

Ausreichend in dem, was es tut. Es überzeugt vor allem vom Preis her, welcher dem Produkt ausnahmslos angemessen ist! Ich würde das Produkt jedem empfehlen, der entweder weiß, dass die höchste Auflösung nicht wichtig für sich ist oder der erst einmal mit dem Thema in Berührung kommen möchte.

Schärfeeinstellung bei höheren Vergrößerungen recht schwierig. Kameraeinstellung lässt sich mit Optik nicht synchronisieren... entweder das oder das scharf beides geht nicht
