Lift n Turn, (Twist Close) Bath Tub/Bathtub Drain Stopper Includes 3/8" and 5/16" Fittings Brushed Nickel

These were exactly what I needed and installed super easily. It’s hard to find replacement drain stoppers without replacing the whole assembly. I tried other brands and they weren’t the same diameter, so I had to replace the entire tub drain and stopper on one tub. Found these for the remaining 2 tubs in the house, and they replaced the stoppers perfectly without needing to swap the whole drain assembly. Comes with two sizes of thread adapters. The larger threaded adapter worked for my tubs. Took about 5 minutes or less. Definitely saving these to a shopping list for any future needs.

18 year old tub stopper was broken by visiting family members - go figure ! This replacement fit perfectly and was able to be changed in minutes. I would use again to replace, repair, upgrade old tub drain stoppers!

I got the brass color without the hair cutter. I didn't know the latter option existed when I ordered. My experience has been good. I previously had ordered several of the toe tap kind, which were horrible. They leaked and broke, and I needed a change so I bought this Lift and Turn. I think it's great. It was easy to install, it seals well, it's problem free...except for one thing. I cant figure out how to remove the plug so I can get the hair ball out, so it clogs up. The only way I can get to the hair is by using a Drain Weasel, which is like a mini rotorooter, to remove it. If there is a way to get it out without breaking it, please someone let me know! Otherwise, after two months of use, daily, I can recommend this!

Item seemed great, with a screw to set the adjustable center post length and two options for the bottom piece screw diameter. BUT, the screw that is supposed to set the height is too short to reach the flat part of the shaft. I had to go to the hardware store and get a half inch stainless 10/24 screw. Once I did that the item worked fine. So, whoever makes this product needs to pay attention to Quality Control.

Our NEW bath tub came with a roller ball drain plug. I’m not sure at what point in the last year it stopped working but I realized it wouldn’t stay open and we were simply unscrewing it for every bath or shower. Ridiculous…. I finally got down and looked at it closely and the ball was rusted and not functional to provide friction to keep the drain open (one of the dumbest designs I can imagine.). Unscrewed it and it went in the trash. This worked perfectly as its replacement! I put a little blue thread lock on the brass adapter portion at the bottom so the entire assembly can be removed easily. I don’t know how long this will last and I don’t care. Anything was better than what we had and this is functioning as intended. For $13 I’m freakin thrilled. In fact I think I’ll buy a 2nd as a backup….

This product had a couple of problems. The press down device did’t work on one of the assemblies . The drain cap was too large of a diameter and when pressed didn’t allow the cap to depress fully. The design of the sink prevented it from depressing fully. To make the assemblies work I used 1/38” caps which I had to purchase and replaced the 2” dia caps supplied the assemblies. I also had to purchase a new spring assembly. I cannot recommend this assembly.

Item fits perfectly and it's easy to install. No leaks.

I discovered this by accident, and it saved me the (huge) cost of replacing my entire bathtub drain stem. Very pleased! Note: it is much "looser" than the original plug, in that it feels loose and waggly in the "up" position. However, once you set it in the "down" position, it is nice and secure - not a drop gets through.

Leaks

Installed in 2 minutes. Same as original that is 25 years old. Bought as a replacement as the original was snapped off by a painter I had in. Best of all, it came with 2 different sized screws to screw into the drain fixture. I would buy this again.
