Beautiful finish, perfect fit and very easy to.replace. The feel is smooth and has good traction, so the controller will not slip from your hands. Great upgrade or replacement.

Easy to install. QR code with instructions attached. But honestly it’s not even rocket science science to replace it. It fits perfect and looks great. Great value for the money no more bubbles or yellowing

This is an initial review based on installation and a bit of use. I'll update if things change in the long run. The parts come well packaged. It all looks like a similar quality to the original parts. Installation was pretty simple, and it came with the needed tool and a link to a video guide, which got me through just fine. That took me about 10 minutes. Initial impressions are that the plastic does fit quite well, but you do have to give it some good pressure to get all the little bits to pop into place. I got the black one, and I like the matte finish. I think it looks nicer than the glossy top that came originally. The only real downside I've noticed so far is the grips are not as grippy. I think that will help them not to get so discolored, but the original grips did have a nice feel to them. These don't feel bad, just not as nice. Overall, it isn't perfect, but I would definitely recommend these.

I game a lot. The original vinyl rear grip pieces started to bubble like many others have experienced. So I bought some of those rubber adhesive grips that wrap around on the grip. They worked great, but only for a few months before they started to wear out. Next I tried one of those full skins, but the fitment wasn't great and the overall feel of the controller felt off so I returned it. Then I found this piece. Finally, a full replacement of the rear grip made of durable plastic - the whole piece is a non-slippery plastic, no rubber to be found. Fitment is perfect, feel is OEM. Finally I can stop worrying about the rubber grips wearing out and having to replacement them every few months.

So I've had the white Dualsense edge controller for about a year now and it's been awesome, it became my primary controller so it's seen tons of use and started to show the small drawback signs of the underside grip panel getting really dirty and it luckily hasn't started to get bad but the rubber is barely starting to bubble up I just received a 2nd Dualsense edge controller as a gift (Midnight Black) and even though it's all black so I don't have the worry of the dirty grips being a visible issue, I wanted to avoid the rubber bubbling up far down the road and also wanted to give it a more custom, personalized look at the same time After looking around online I discovered the eXtremeRate trim shells and reading reviews it was perfect for what I wanted I've had to get a little handy with some of my other controllers from past sony consoles replacing the internal battery etc. So I am somewhat familiar with tearing apart sony controllers but the dualsense edge is a completey different design from all the other controllers sony has designed with no screws on the outer shell holding it together so I was a little nervous about pulling the trim panels off to replace them. The video for the trim panel installation provided was helpful but I was nervous about breaking anything while removing the stock panels so I did some digging online and found quite a few very helpful videos on YouTube showing exactly how to remove the trim panels using the plastic tool kit provided with the eXtremeRate panels. The plastic pry tool kit provided is awesome eXtremeRate includes everything needed to install their products and even encluded spare parts for the controller They arrived super quick in just 2 days with no issues The grip feels just as nice and comfortable as the stock ones do, they provide an awesome improved appearance and fix the rubber bubbling issue the stock grips get overtime I love the look of my new midnight black dualsense edge and ended up swapping the stock white panel on my white dualsense edge for the stock black panel from my midnight black edition and when the rubber starts to bubble on the black panel I'll definitely be coming back to replace it with these, I highly recommend these to anyone who wants to improve the look of their dualsense edge controller and fix the stock rubber bubbling drawback these controllers have

Exactly what I needed to finish a matte black and transparent teal shell swap, on my Dualsense Edge. The kit eliminates the white grips that get degraded over time..it looks incredible, now. Both kits were straightforward, and came with a full replacement of screws and a link to the guide video that walks you through the whole process. The controller actually feels even more sturdy than the OEM shell did, as well. Excellent value.

I like it but unfortunately It's not a 100 percent fit on the Duelsense edge controller. It is easy to install on it, It does feel nice to hold, the color is beautiful on the outside but on the inside of it no effort was put into it to make it feel premium. The only reason why I got this was because sony version of this the grips was peeling off so I got this as a replacement.. not worth the $20 but its what i paid for in the end. I was hoping Amazon could at least give a partial refund at least but they were unwilling and would not look at the photo I provided. I would think about it before making this purchase .
