Queen Note-for-Note Keyboard Transcriptions.

I would say these are suitable for grade 4+. My Queen mad daughter has been working her way through these and loves how good they sound. She is working towards grade 5 currently and finds them challenging enough but not too hard.

I do wish the Seller could get hold of QUEEN'S MUSIC from their !st and 2nd Albums... but this selection played on the piano is touchingly evocative. I am a new fan... I knew nothing about Queen or the Fascinating Freddie Mercury, until seeing the film - Bohemian Rhapsody.

This was a Christmas present for my grandson. After he received it he went immediately to the piano to try it out and before the end of the day he had mastered Bohemian Rhapsody, despite, by his own admission, his music reading being a little rusty.

The book was damaged when I opened the package and I do not want to give this as a gift. The contents of the book look great apart from the damage.

More for experienced players

The book arrived fast and in great condition. As a non-pianist I felt it doesn't matter what song j chose, ad o don't have any level of expertise. I decided to try my luck with Killer Queen. After 4 months of daily practice, sometimes 5 minutes. Day and sometimes 7 hours, I finally got it! The notation is easy to read (even if you suck at note reading, like me) and you seldom don't know where you are in the song. Don't know which song I'll learn next, but I doo know that with this book, I'll be able to play it exactly as the studio version soon!

Bought as a gift for my husband and he loves it. Great songs.

レビュー クイーン 楽譜 Hal Leonard の note for noteは、採譜がよくできているので購入。 収録全13曲中、You're My Best Friendを除く12曲がフレディの曲。Keyboard譜なので、そうなってしまうのだろう。 Death On Two LegsやLazing On A Sunday Afternoonなどマイナーな曲を含み、全盛期のThe Gameまでのアルバムからのみ選曲されている。 初期の楽曲は、フレディのピアノが重要な要素であったから本書の趣旨からもいい選曲だと思う。 Save Me と Sail Away Sister も入れてほしかったが贅沢か。 弾いて楽しいのは、Seven Seas Of Rhye や Good Old Fashioned Lover Boy だった。もちろん、Bohemian Rhapsody などのヒット曲の採譜も問題なし。 ただし、ピアノソロ譜ではないし、弾き語りしやすいわけでもない。あくまで、レコードに忠実な楽譜。

I know there are a lot of piano books that cover Queen songs that tries to include the vocal parts in with the right hand. This one is not one of those and is exactly as advertised, note by note keyboard transcription. Before I found this book, when I was trying to find a good piano sheet music for Bohemian Rhapsody, and the only place I found a good copy was at http://queensongs.info/. Save yourself time and printer ink and just buy this book. It has all the big Queen songs with a major keyboard presence like Bohemian Rhapsody, Killer Queen, Somebody To Love. Must have if you always wanted to play the piano parts to some of the greatest Queen songs.
