I would highly recommend using it not only in small places like cottages ...
This is a small, lightweight vacuum cleaner. Despite small size it has very powerful suction and does the job well. I would highly recommend using it not only in small places like cottages or caravans but also in regular apartments or houses. It is ideal for people with back problems and elders who struggle with regular, heavy hoovers. In my opinion it is a very good piece of equipment and it comes with a ridiculously cheap price. After few usage I noticed one drawback though – the cord is not long enough and you need to plug it in and out many times during vacuuming.

Brilliant
I love this. I bought this to do the stairs and corners where my robotic vacuum didn't reach. I have a larger Hetty for regular deep cleans but I have a lot of arthritis and needed something lighter to do a top up. This hoover is perfect. Its light and quick to use. If you have hard floors, you don't really need anything else as it is quick and thorough. As it is a cyclone, it copes really well with carpeted stairs and is adequate for a carpeted room. If it had a rotating brush, it would be amazing. My only niggles are: (1) The cord is a bit short. It's fine to get up a flight of stairs but it won't plug in to the hallway and reach to the end of a medium sized room like a bigger model. You have to plug it into a socket in the room you are in. (2) The motor heats up quickly. I suspect it may fail after a period of use, despite keeping the filters cleared. (3) The build quality on the flip down crevice tool is a bit suspect. For the money, its a brilliant cleaner with great power. I principally bought a cheap one to see of it was the right tool for me. It is. It cleans very well and I am going tonby one for my mum who is in her 70s as its easy to handle.

Releases dust particles back into the air.
I found that this product was ok at sucking up little bits of dirt but this is only if the surface is hard i.e. not carpet. It seemed to struggle on the carpet - managing only larger bits of dirt. I did end up returning this item due to the fact that it released dust back into the air, this resulted in the room smelling strange and me sneezing alot. You should probably know that the EU rating for the vacuum cleaners ability to prevent dust from going back into the air is the lowest possible. Hence i wouldn't recommend this product at all. Pay a little extra and get something which won't irritate your nose so much. But I guess I got what I paid for.

Don't expect it to last long
If you're expecting a hoover that lasts more than a few months I'd look elsewhere. Sure, this hoover is really light and easy to mover about, but it struggles to pick up a lot of stuff, like loose hairs and clumps of fluff, and i's limited cable length is also a problem when trying to hoover stairs that don't have a plug at the bottom. The fact that it stopped working after 4 months is also pretty ridiculous. It may be heavier, but I'm gonna be sticking to the good ol' Henry Hoover after this...

Was pleasantly surprised by how good it was and did a great job picking up ...
Size doesn't always matter! :-) I mainly bought this to use on the hardwood floors throughout my flat - no carpets anywhere! Was pleasantly surprised by how good it was and did a great job picking up the dirt. Great suction and quite lightweight. Easy to assemble together in a matter of seconds and ready to use. The dust compartment is easy to detach and empty. One important point to note that some others have mentioned previously - you will probably need to wash/clean the cone shaped Hepa filter after each use as it quickly gets clogged up with dust and fluff sticking to it's corrugated corners. You need to remove it and wash under a cold water tap or shower to remove the dust/fluff particles and leave out to dry. They recommend 24 hours but should be completely dry in about 12. The price at under £30 was great. Altogether very happy with my purchase and would highly recommend!

Does the job, very very light quite noisy
Good points - it does hoover up! it stores upright neatly and well and very compact. ideal for someone who cant lift heavy hoovers as its very very light. Bad points - lets off terrible burning smell and so noisy. feels tinny and cheap but for the money cant grumble

Good experience and a good buy
This vacuum cleaner is very nice and effective. Quite decently priced and easy to manage as it can be separated into 3 different parts quite simply. Elegant, simple to store and easy to use. But it's certainly not heavy duty. I have used it a couple of times now both on floor and carpets and works okay. Cleans up most of the area and leaves behind the stuff which is stuck to the carpets, hence it is not heavy duty. You'll have to unstick things from the carpet for it to get sucked up by this vacuum.

Good value for money, still working OK after 6 Months.
Purchased 6 months ago to replace broken large pull along cleaner,it was becoming a bit too heavy anyway so we decided to try this small lightweight model and it has proved to be a good choice. The reason for the 4 star rating is that I can't locate a supplier for a replacement filter,an enquiry via supplier/manufacturer drew a blank as it is stated the filter will not need to be replaced, also I had no luck searching the normal on-line spares web-sites. We are very pleased with this little cleaner, it is light, picks up very well and is easy to empty. It will tell you when the filter is getting blocked by shutting off to allow the motor to cool down.Perhaps I am being a bit too fussy and the filter will last the lifetime of the cleaner.Still very happy with it especially for the money---£24-58
