It's working great so far.
So far this pump is really good. Im using it in my photography studio for rain shoots. Sensor is working every time. No issues with extracting the water. Loudness is very similar to my other pump. Pump is strong enough to quick get water out from the basin. Very important not to place pump on something perfectly flat, need to be a small gap so the water easy flow.

Great pump, fantastic price
Hired out a puddle pump when first round of major rain storms hit us to get rid of a flooded garden. Brought this unit to replace the hired unit. Have already made my money back on this and does a fantastic job.

A flawed but useful tool
We just had another big flood following the November 2025 storms in UK. Firstly, I must say I'm glad I bought this as it ran (intermittently...) for 8 hours. Without it, things would have been very much worse. The downside is that the unit keeps shutting down, then restarts after 5-10 minutes. Quite how an intelligent engineer can design a pump that overheats in cold water is a mystery to me. You would think that rejecting the design and going back to the drawing board would be the obvious solution. The pump is essentially useful, but if you need it for 'emergency' use then either look for an alternative or - as I may now do - buy two.

It's ok
It will easily pump high volumes but when it gets to low levels its next to useless. And detergent in the water caused the pump to struggle.

Fantastic-
We flooded and this was brilliant helped sort out the water in no time, minimising any damage speeding up drying out process. We have tiled flooring throughout because our house is in an area prone to flooding, we are lucky that it’s clear water that comes in so no silt.

A pump that works properly at last - for 6 weeks!!
This pump is perfect. It automatically switches in when it’s supposed to and off when finished. It has great flow unlike the 250w puddle pump. Easy to install and does the job quietly and efficiently.

Just works...fantastic
I bought the smaller variety of this initially , it didn't work, not at all, just buzzed, so was evidently faulty in the box, returned to Amazon, full refund... so same day as the smaller one arrived, bought this, delivered the very next day ( really good delivery, we are in the Highlands), attach pipe (not provided of course but I already had this), secure with Jubilee (again not provided , but had these), put it on the lowest setting, lower into sump, switch on..... pumping away...Levels drop, it switches off after a short while, levels rise, it switches on, and around and around it goes....it works, does what it says on the tin really, cant comment on longevity of course, but so far, so good, and good value also.
