I use these on my rooster coops because they learned how to throw their bodies into the door and free themselves with store bought magnetic catches that I previously purchased. They cannot do that anymore with these Heavy-Duty Magnetic Door Catches. I love them so much, I also purchased the Medium Door Catch for my hens coops. Spoiler alert: They also work very well. I could not be happier with this purchase!

I have a dumb corner cabinet door that I hate. I have cats that figured out how to open it. This is where I keep cereal, bags of rice and other tall grocery items. I'd often open my cabinet to find they'd destroyed my boxes of cereal and bags of rice. The lighter strength typical cabinet door magnets weren't strong enough and other type latches wouldn't work because of how door is constructed. We've had these a month or so and the cabinets are catproof! PROS: Very strong. I have to give a good tug to open the door. Excellent for cabinets that are odd structure that conventional latching systems won't work on. Price is very good given the size and strength of the magnets. *you can see, in second photo, the magnets we first had on(very top and middle) for size/strength reference.

Easy to install and did the job for my barn door.

Bought this to hold barn style doors closed on an outdoor storage building. Not the easiest to line up the magnets so to make connection but strength of magnets work great when you finally get that connection. Great price.

We have cats and old doors that don't always close. This was a cheap, easy fix and works well. Magnet is strong enough to keep our Fat Fats from clawing them open.

I ordered a four pack of the 90 lb holding strength magnets. Two of the magnets had good holding power, but sure wasn’t 90 lb holding force. The other two barely even snapped the metal plate together with the actual magnet, as if they had been heavily demagnetized. Overall, two were “decent” and two were a poop emoji. Therefore, I DO NOT recommend purchasing these.

This holds our closet door closed fine but isn’t crazy strong like if there’s anything at all blocking the door or pushing against it then it won’t close but overall it’s good

Effective, strong magnet. Keeps troublesome kitchen cabinet door closed. We added a non magnetic spacer to make it easier to open cabinet door. Easy to install. Would recommend.
