Good book.

If you consider using this book for college, stay away. It says it's the 9th edition and still has images of equipment I worked with, in the '80ies. The largest part of the book explains basics which are subjects of 7th to 8th-grade high school. at least was in my time and as it seems with all education these days, it appears we are going backward. They are using large graphics filling half a page for basic elements of circuits, thus filling pages easy and creating a large book with ease. The part that would justify the title "INDUSTRIAL Electricity" is to the end and goes into PLC programming BASICS which you can have in a much better and more detailed way explained buying a specific book for that subject. Electric in INDUSTRY is barely existent in this book. Again, if you are a high school student and you are thinking about a technical career pathway, it might be a good thing to read, but that's it. And for a 9th edition, I would have expected at least photographs of modern testing instruments.
