I bought this for my mum at Christmas, & she loves it! its the perfect book for anyone with an interest in Indian culture, the colourful imagery is stunning. and it provides some interesting in depth reading for anyone with a passion for the country, I highly recommend this book!

Not a great book at all. The photos mean very little to anyone who may like or have visited India. Cant understand how people give this book 5 stars. The pictures are just colourful very close up abstracts. Nothing scenic or memory evoking. Best avoided.

Back in the 1970's Eric Meola was one of the photographers along with Ernst Haas, Jay Maisel and Pete Turner that set a very high bar for what great color photography could be. This book is further proof of his ability to thrill the viewer with his intense vision. Gorgeous reproduction and book design.

This coffee table book is filled with delightful photos in rich colours making you wish visiting India and see for yourself.

I gave this book to my sister for Christmas and she simply LOVES it. The photographs are GORGEOUS, the quality is first rate and the price at amazon.com was terrific! I would recommend this book to anyone who loves the Indian culture and who enjoys reading about the country and seeing beautiful photographs of India, its people, its buildings, its culture. A VERY colorfoul book; many full pages!

Wonderful book, great print quality. The vibrant colors pop. I bought this book for my mom who is an artist, and surely it will be inspiring. (I'm actually jealous now and want to order a copy for me!).
