The Catalina Lighting Modern Multipurpose Spotlight Desk or Wall Mount Accent Lamp, 6" Brushed Nickel is a feasible accent lamp that can be wall mounted. I find the brushed nickle to be attractive, the make is sturdy, the size is adequate and its not too heavy to be wall mounted. I purchased the accent lamp to be used as a wall mounted lamp over a vanity/desk area. I use a 60 watt daylight bulb in the accent lamp which supplies a good amount of light to the area. I do not use the light for long durations. The cord is not extremely long but long enough to reach an outlet if it is within approximately 5 feet. The on/off switch it approximately 1 1/2 feet from the lamp base. The lamp angle can be adjusted and secured in place. I find the Catalina Lighting Modern Multipurpose Spotlight Desk or Wall Mount Accent Lamp, 6" Brushed Nickel lamp to be a good purchase and a good fit for my needs. The price is right.

I love the look of uplights under a plant and these work well.

This light replaced cheaper similar lights ordered on Amazon which had permanent installed LEDs. This light paired with a smart bulb works great to illuminate our fiddle fig plant in the corner of the bedroom. While the cheaper lights had various settings on a small remote, there were not color options, only degrees of daylight to soft white. The smart bulb allows setting on the app to have the light go on/off at preset times, and can be replaced without replacing the fixture when the bulb fails. One star off for what I think is a steep price for this product.

A beautiful uplight that casts beautiful light. Adjustable and pretty enough that I don’t care if someone sees it.

Innovative idea: use a BR 20 Indoor Flood Light LED bulb instead of the bulb which seller suggests. This produces a true flood light which illuminates the pages of a book to permit reading 8' away. The LED bulb does not get hot so neither does the metal lamp. In any event, the lamp is well made with a stylish design.

Perfect for lighting corners of dark rooms, without a lamp that takes up space. Our basement playroom was too dark and now our boys play in it more often!

We use it on the floor in a corner, to backlight an upright bass seated in a wooden box stand. We stuck a smart bulb in it and are really pleased with the result. The bass looks more like a piece of art now… not just an instrument stuck in the corner. The base of the light fixture is very sturdy (not gonna tip over). It is very easy to adjust to get the desired angle. And the finish is really nice, too (better than just a matte black on metal… it looks more expensive than it is).

So, I love the look of this light and the super easy installation. What I don’t love about this light is the it randomly goes off and on. More than once I’ve seen the light turn off, then turn back on hours later. Not sure if this is a normal thing with this light, but I just wish it would stay on.

I bought this on sale on Warehouse Deals for 10 dollars. The regular price is currently listed at $106. Absurd. It's a $25 dollar lamp. Buy one when there is a low price. It is a great deal. I like that it is small and has a clear cord that is about 4 ft long. Well made steel and does the job.
