Rubie's Costume Matrix Reloaded Trinity

I wore this costume to work for our holiday celebration. I was instantly recognized by everyone as "Trinity" from The Matrix (even though I'm blond.) I wear a size 8 in a coat and I had a couple of inches to spare around the chest and waist. The fit was perfect for work. I estimate it would fit up to a size 10-12, depending on how busty you are, but as others have said it does have a surprising amount of give.I'm 5'4" and it came just about to the floor on me, so I taped the hem up about 5" on the inside of the coat with black duct tape. It worked perfectly and in fact gave the hem a little extra flair. The tape came off easily at the end of the day with no permanent damage to the coat. (A smaller person could tape up the sleeve hems and inside seams also, if necessary.)The coat arrived with some wrinkles and creases, so to restore that sleek look I steamed in GENTLY on the inside and it smoothed out beautifully.A word of warning: Don't plan to spend any time outside in strong sunlight in this! It soaks up heat from the sun instantly. I live in Florida and when I left the party at 3 p.m. I had to practically run to my car.

I think this product was really pretty good for my costume. It is really close to the look of the actual piece and the quality was pretty good as well. I think it could have been a bit more roomy for a "one size fits most", but I wore it comfortably for a good amount of time. The sunglasses that came with it were awful, but I bought the authentic Trinity glasses anyway, so I didn't need them. If I had, I would have been upset. But, all in all, it was great.

All in all, this costume was great. It looks like Trinity's coat and the glasses were perfect. I got so many compliments on Halloween. I'm a little short, 5'3'', so this coat was too long for me, but if you're taller than I am, it will look great on you. Also, it was super wrinkly, but I hung it up on a coat hanger, turned on the shower, and tried to steam out the wrinkles, which worked well enough. If you want to be Trinity for Halloween on the cheap, I would recommend this to anyone!

For the price, I'd expect it to be better, but it is thicker than trashbags and wasn't wrinkled when I got it. The chest is definitely a little oddly proportioned but if you don't zip the jacket it looks ok. The sunglasses were terrible though, not even the right shape and were so loose they wouldn't even stay on. Threw them out and got my own pair elsewhere. If they really wanted to make it a Trinity "costume" I think they should have included the pants and skipped the glasses.

I'm only giving this less than 5 stars because of the size. I purchased STANDARD. The only one available. It will probably fit a medium sized junior girl. Maybe larger if the girl has no chest or wants it tight. Other than that, the quality is good. It looks just like in the picture and it comes with the glasses. O had ordered others because I thought this was just the coat.

This is nicer than I expected it would be for the price. I am tall, though, so if you're a petite lass it may be uncomfortably long on you, as others have pointed out. It's a bit noisy and you can see that the lining is grey felt or something, but overall it's quite sturdy and cool.ETA: I've uploaded a photo of me wearing the coat at DragonCon. I am 5'8" and size 6-8.

cheap material.I wore it out on a date with my boyfriend and he wouldn't let me wear it inside the house because he didn't want people to know how 'weird he was', implying that the trenchcoat looked cheap to the extent of being embarassing to himhowever, it has a sexy bdsm look to it and i turned a lot of heads while walking around in it, so it's a catch 22

A nice item , very quick shipping . The price was low , and it shows a bit on the costume, to be honest it does look better on the picture than when i unwrapped it (but don t most halloween costumes).So worth the money yes, although not the truly stunning costume i was looking for.i guess it s great if your looking for the average one time wear halloween costume.

This piece of fancy dress kit consists a rather creased long PVC Mac and a pair of very cheap matrix style sunglasses that I won't be wearing as they are too large for my face. If the creases drop out in time for my fancy dress then it should be ok. The quality of the Mac isn't too bad but quite expensive considering what it actually is. Will probably try to resell it on eBay at a later date.

Das Produkt kam erstaunlich schnell. Die Größe war mit M/L angegeben. Real wäre wohl S/M gewesen . Die Ärmel sind etwas arg kurz ( hab Handschuhe gekauft. Nun geht's.) Auch im Schulterbereich wären ein paar cm mehr bequemer. Ich trage sonst Gr. M. Ich denke es wird gehen und freue mich trotzdem aufs Ausführen.

Slightly wringly but did the job for a Halloween costume. Glasses are far too large though.

I needed it for a fancy dress marathon (Marathon du Medoc) which had a science fiction theme and as my name in actually Trinity it was a no brainer.It was great, and people were even asking to have their photo taken with me!Quite hot to run a marathon in, even with the front open and just shorts underneath, but I expected that it would be!
