Cheeky Monkey Timer
I already had two Joie Monkey items (bag clips) which are excellent quality, so when I needed a timer the Monkey was an easy choice. I brought the timer 5 months ago and it is used on a regular basis, to make sure I am not working on my laptop for too long without a break/moving. It is accurate and rings exactly when it should, the ring is plenty loud enough and lasts for a couple of seconds. The minute markers are clear being white on a brown base and there is no sign of them wearing off. Excellent value for money.

Accurate depending on age of eggs but still works well
Second puchase after the first one split, but this was used regularly for year before it did. Good value for money, works well but accuracy does depend on the age of the eggs being used (older eggs will cook quicker than fresh ones), for example a runny yolk, large size fresh eggs needed the line between soft and medium, older eggs needed the soft line.

So cute, bought one for family and they loved it as much as I did. Has a good ring, the numbers are clear. Does the job brings a smile to your face.

Rubbish
Bought 7th January. I know I chose the novel one but still by 7th February (not used every day, no kids, not dropped) it doesnt ring anymore. Hey ho, cheap Chinese crap

Handy and accurate egg timer
My previous egg timer from the same brand lasted 3 years before it got broken. Works well and cooks the egg the way you would prefer it.

Ich bin sehr zufrieden. Wir haben den Egg Timer bereits länger in Benutzung. Klar, je nach Ei-Größe muss man die Eier etwas vor oder nach den Strichen rausholen (da wir Eier vom umliegenden Bauern holen, sind die Eier mal klein, mal riesig), aber den Dreh bekommt man raus. Die Rezensionen darüber, dass der Timer mit der Zeit milchig und somit schlechter lesbar wird, ist logisch. Da setzt sich eben Kalk von den Eiern ab - reinigen und fertig. Ich verstehe nicht wieso deshalb die ein oder andere Person dafür Punktabzug gibt. Da kann ja der Timer auch nicht viel für. :) Wir nutzen ihn wirklich sehr oft und können uns nicht beschweren.
