Beautifully made and absolutely silent in operation. This is a dream for any serious watch collector. I couldn't believe how inexpensive it was. If, like me, you have large wrists you may have to tape up the holders to prevent the watches moving around in the rotors.

Do not buy this product if you want to have a watch winder in working order beyond 8 MONTHS - That is how long it took before one of the winders stopped working. I contacted the seller requesting a replacement, only to be told that 'the warranty is only valid for six months' - AVOID

I have the watch winder for over a month now and I would like to provide a detailed review. Externals (the outer and inner finish of the box) 5/5: The build quality and the box finish is very good. The lacquered finish is of a high quality and the parts are put together well. It feels very solid. The inside of the box is well wrapped in faux leather. The material is properly stretched over each surface and the watch cushions have a ring around them to accommodate watches adjusted for large wrists. The watches fit in the slots quite snug and there is no chance of them falling out while the rotors are turning. Internals (the winding mechanism) 2/5 At the first glance everything looked like it was working fine, but after a few minutes of analyzing the rotors I noticed that both of them were not centered properly. This resulted in them slightly swaying from side to side as they turn, but the sway is about 1cm (1/3 inch) so it did not bother me too much. For a few weeks I was only using the left side, as I only owned 2 automatic watches but when I purchased a new one and started using the right side rotor I noticed a new issue with it. I am using the 4th setting, where the rotor turns for 10 minutes in each direction for 3 hours followed by a 9 hour pause. When it turns clockwise everything is fine, but when it turns to the left it makes a loud, grindy noise each time it turns, and the noise lasts for 1/3-1/2 of the turn. This makes it impossible to have it running during the night time. Overall, I do like the watch winder and I think I just got a bad item that slipped through quality control. I threw away the box 1 week after I got it as I didn't notice any major issues so I can't really return it and get a replacement, but I really believe that it's a bit of a hit or miss with these. The left side works well, the right side doesn't really.. It's not a bad price for what it is, it's worth it but my recommendation is to extensively test both sides on all 4 settings before deciding to keep it. My star rating is totally subjective and influenced by my personal experience with the unit I purchased. I hope this review helps you make the decision to buy or not to buy.

Even better than I thought it would be. Only reason for the 4 star rating is the key does let it down.

This was such great value for money, it looks way more expensive than it was. Really nicely made and watch collection looks great (and automatics remain wound). Only problem is it's made me buy more watches :-)

Excellent! great quality and arrived the next day very well packaged and watches fit perfectly, the motors are quiet too if you need a watch winder this is the one.

as with other reviews the left hand winder has stopped working after 18 months,not happy.do not buy it i shall be looking for a new one which will hopefully last longer.
