Bought this for a custom kart I’m building that required hydraulic brakes. It works perfectly to stop my 200 lb plus kart. I made custom brackets to make everything fit properly according to my build. Not sure what this is designed to fit with a direct bolt on but my application was not that. Very good product. Would definitely recommend to someone for a custom application

Great product, on my racing mower it would lock up the rear tires at 45mph. Be sure to let the hose rest before installing so its easier to route.

Functionally it works great. Stops a moderately heavy go kart with ease by a 12 yr old driver from relatively decent speeds. The reason for 3 stars is that the brake line length is far too short for even a small go kart. And there's no length found in the product description or pictures. I estimate the brake line length to be about 4 to 5 feet. We made it work with the existing brake connecting rod but took some extra fabrication and welding to get it working. Comes with zip ties and an extra set of brake pads so that is a plus. Recommend improving the product description.

Works decent, not top of the line but works for go cart

(Edit) Moved to one star because upon assembly of the brake system on my go cart I noticed metal shavings inside the caliper. I disassembled the caliper and found A LOT of shavings, probably from the machining process, but could cause damage to a seal while in use. I was able to clean it and reassemble it and it should work as intended however after seeing the rust on the product and shavings in the caliper I'd advise people to stay away from this product due to very poor quality control that could potentially lead to a serious accident (Original) Going to be installing this on a go kart and overall it looks like it'll do the job. Only rating 3 stars though because when I opened the box to inspect all the parts, I noticed rust on the spring around the reservoir hose. Not a big deal but it's supposed to be new so why is there already rust on it and if that's rusted then what else internally could potentially be rusted.
