Solid piece & well-constructed. I will admit there is a slight sway if I push n the cabinet too much, but I think that's simply a product of most of the connections in the middle being made with wood dowels. I am happy with the quality, the look, and how it went together. It will take a little more than an hour if you're putting it together by yourself & you will want to make sure to follow the instructions as written, but I had no trouble & no complaints. Very happy with this purchase - it was exactly what I was looking for to help get a spare bedroom organized.

These bookcases are so great. Perfect for a small space. Super sturdy. They match both traditional and modern decor. Also super easy to put together: from opening the box to finishing assembly is about 25-30 minutes. All around great product! Highly recommend!

Nice and sturdy furniture once put together, very easy to understand instructions. A good friend of mine had gotten one of these and I saw how sturdy and multifunctional is. All the finishes are really nice The only how far I have with it was shipping. One of the boards got destroyed on the corner. I'll post some pictures when I get back to my office of it fully assembled.

8-cube. Assembly was fairly easy, but the dowels for the dividers between the shelves are flimsy and break easily. There were no spares. Also, one of the cam locks was missing, and there were no spares for this either. Fortunately, I had spares from a different project that did provide extra pieces. Otherwise, the size was right for the space and, once assembled, it seems to be sturdy.

Where do I start? I guess let me give you a little information about myself. In the last 10 years between my house, my families houses, and a few friends houses, I've built about 40(ish) IKEA and IKEA style pieces of furniture. I'm the type of guy to put wood glue on the dowels to give things a little bit more oomph. This is, without a doubt, the cheapest, nastiest, and flimsiest piece I've ever built (and I've built some 30 dollar Target furniture). First, I will give them some credit: all the pieces were there and there were 2 extra dowels. Thats it, every else about this was horrible. Out of the box, the pieces had hair on them and some parts had black scratches. On top of that, I figure that the extra dowels are for how cheap and easily the ones they provide break. I've had maybe 3 or 4 dowels break on me in the past combined, with this one I broke 3 of them. The particle board they used was also so poor that with your fingernail you could scrape it off. Did I also mention that they didn't make all the holes? Ya, I had to make holes because you could see where some were started but never finished. Then assembling this wobbly mess by following the instructions only leads to a nightmare of a build if you go at it alone. Trying to center everything, while it makes cracking sounds from the cheap dowels snapping from the weight of the cheap particle board, is a huge pain. I had to add my own screws on the sides after the 3rd dowel broke just to finish the build. What a nightmare. PLEASE dont buy this product...

I bought this to display our collection of Le Creuset gear. It looks fantastic. I went with this model because Ikea was temporarily out of their comparable product. As a benefit, Amazon delivered this for free, saving me the hassle of dealing with driving out there and wandering their aisles like a hungry rat in a maze. Setup of these shelving systems is never poroblem free. You just have to suck it up, knowing that there are going to be at least 2-3 times where you want to take an axe to the entire endeavor. Just know that when you're done you will have a great excuse to make an Old Fashioned or an IPA.
