Echo Show 8 (3rd generation) Adjustable Stand with USB-C Charging Port | Charcoal

I bought this adjustable stand alongside my new Echo Show 8 (3rd Gen) in the Prime Day sale, and it was absolutely worth it. It makes such a difference – you can easily tilt the screen to get the best viewing angle, whether it's on a kitchen counter, desk, or shelf. It feels sturdy, well made, and clicks into place securely. It also lifts the device slightly, which not only improves visibility but also makes it look neater and more premium. If you’re getting the Echo Show 8, I’d definitely recommend picking this up too – especially if you can get it at a discounted price like I did.

The core issue with the Echo 8 is that it is designed for table/desk top use. If you want to use it on a shelf you need to find a way to elevate its rear. The Echo is a heavy unit so using a book is not really safe. That's where this stand comes into play, It's simple to attach, gives a static point for the power supply to attach to and provides a USB power outlet (that I'm not using). Decent product. Has sufficient weight to not mess with the Echo's sound quality. A very useful add-on for the Echo Show although it does seem expensive for what it is.

Great stand and has a spare fast charging USB-C port for charging other portable devices. Although i think it should be cheaper if bought with an Echo.

Good little device but I got fed up after awhile telling the screen to turn off. It’s one big advertising gimmick so I unplugged it and stuck it back in his box and now it’s sat in the bedroom under the bed now I use echo dot can’t see the appetising just tell the echo do what you wanna do although the sound qualities is very good. It’s only compatible with Amazon advertising

Ich habe dieses Echo Showgerät in der Black Friday Woche erworben, zudem als wiederaufgearbeitetes Rücksendeexemplar. Fast in Rekordzeit erhielt ich ein origial verpacktes Gerät aus, von dem ich geschworen hätte, daß es noch niemand vor mir ausgepackt hat. So habe ich einen prima Deal für nur wenig mehr als den nominellen Preis machen könmnen und bin schon daher sehr zufrieden mit meiner Kaufentscheidung. Auch wenn mein altes Echo Dot 4 für meine Bedürfnisse ausreichend war, bietet das Echo Dot 8 3. Generation schon einiges mehr. Man bzw. ich bräuchte die Videofeatures nicht wirklich, aber Spaß machen sie doch und mit dem Umweg über den eingebauten BING Browser kann man sogar richtig im Internet surfen, auch wenn das nur mit Toucheingaben und ohne Tastatur schon weniger komfortabel ist. Nichtsdestoweniger funktioniert alles bestens, das Gerät ist sehr leicht zu installieren und hat eine extrem gute Audioqualität, die man besonders merkt, wenn man einmal Musikstücke abspielt. Man kann sogar sie Stimme von Alexa ändern bzw. eine männliche Stimme einstellen, aber ich habe dann doch wieder Alexa statt Alexander (??) eingestellt, weil man mit Alexa irgendwie besser schimpfen kann, wenn sie schon auf einfachste Fragen keine andere sinnvolle Antwort als "ich weiß nicht, wie ich Dir dabei helfen kann" gibt. Alexa ist halt nicht klüger als ihre Programmierer bzw. deren Speicherplatz, Einfallsreichtum oder Budget erlaubt, das war bei meinem Echo Dot 4 ja auch nicht anders. Wenn man einen günstigen Preis erwischen kann, ist der Echo Show 8 (ich habe mir auch den dazu passenden berstellbaren Ständer "geleistet") ein nettes Spielzeug, bei dem ich nur noch nicht herausgefunden haben, wie man es einstellen kann, wie man es stromsparend erreichen kann, daß der Bildschirm die Nacht über dunkel bleibt, wenn im Zimmer alles dunkel ist und auch die Kamera nichts erfassen kann. Alles in allem ein sehr empfehlenswertes Gerät.
