…than the very utilitarian-style (read: ugly) shutoff valves sold at the home improvement / hardware stores. Haven’t installed these yet, but they appear to be of exceptional quality. These are more expensive, but well worth it for where they’ll be able to be seen (for the toilet tank line) vs out of view (inside a cabinet for the sink supply lines) where I’ll use the cheaper uglier ones.

I am really disappointed with this product. It is too small of an inlet hole for American copper pipes. It was too small by the small bit, but enough for the shut off valve to not slide over the pipe in order to be screwed on. They look great and open/close smooth, but they are worthless to me. I really wish I hadn't taken my faucet lines all apart

Ordered these Angle Valve 2 Pack Shut Off Angle Stop Valve 1/2'' x 3/8'' 1/4 Turn Water Control Valve to use as toilet shutoff values in a project this spring. They do look nicer than the much cheaper standard twist on and off valves that are more typical. The packaging and branding leaves something to be desired, no product seller or warranty information included with the valves, just a box, no brass nut included. I think the eschaton's are a little bit thin and flimsy and also slightly small, be sure to not overcut the holes in the wall for the water pipes. In addition because of the way the cover fits between the threads and the pipe in the wall that pipe will have to be mounted perfectly. Old style was for the pipe to stub out of the wall and the escutcheon be placed on that pipe and the connections on the other side of it. Feels light weight for the cost. Action is simple and smooth, hoping the ceramic holds up as well as the typical copper valve. They do look good though.

Brass nut not included in package despite what product description says. Luckily I was able to sweat the old shutoff back on for now until I can get to the hardware store.
