Reshow CD Player Cleaner, Laser Lens Cleaning Disc for CD/VCD/DVD Player, Microfiber Cloth & Solution

When I first tried this lens cleaner cd it seemed to be faulty. The words and music stuttered and broke off and I intended to return it. However, I left it stumbling and stuttering away whilst I got on with other tasks and eventually after around 20 minutes I heard it come to an end. When I removed it there were little dark bits on the playing side. It occurred to me that this could be dirt that had been removed. I blew it off and tried the cd again. This time no problem! Played perfectly and came to an end after 5 mins. I tried it again to make sure and again no problem at all! I suspect the problem with the first attempt was because this was the first time the lens had been cleaned in over 12 years and the cd cleaner must have been struggling to remove the build-up of dirt!!! (Up until recently I didn't realize one needed to clean the lens.) I am so glad I didn't rush to return it as "faulty". It is simple to use and very effective. It has made a wonderful difference to the sound quality of my cds. I recommend it and will buy it again if and when necessary. (I think it said in instruction leaflet that it will do around 300 cleans.)

This was excellent! It fixed my CD player, and my DVD player. At first, it seemed like it wasn't doing anything - it wouldn't play at all. But I kept pressing play, and it kept spinning, and after a while it must have cleaned enough to start properly. So, persevere with it if it looks like it's not working at first. The product also comes with some cleaning liquid and a cloth, but these are NOT to be used with the brush disc. They are for cleaning any CDs you have. Real value for money, as I didn't have to buy new appliances!

Didn't work at all. CD player could not recognise the cleaning disc and would not play. Waste of money. The return could only be made on the day it was delivered. I was unable to return it on that day.

My CD player was skipping tracks and was impossible to clean without dismantling. Therfore, purchased this disc. The disc has two small sets of brushes (the document states, "do not apply the supplied fluid to the brushes"). Once inserted the disc begins a commentary asking you to listen to simple audio tests, sound from left speaker, right speaker both speakers etc. Ran it once and no more skipping.
