the quality of the cloth is better than i expected it would be. i'm using it as a runner on a little coffee station, and it holds up really well beneath hot mugs and such. it's absorbent as well, *and* it hasn't suffered any staining yet from splashes of tea and such. it's quite small, but that's exactly what i was looking for, so i'm pleased about that. the colors are nice. my partner can't stop talking about how cute it is. :) really lovely little table runner!
