THE NUN 2 BD

Arrived on time, no damage. I absolutely love the conjuring series of films, got the blu ray box set of the usual 7 but had to purchase this and curse of la llorona separately unfortunately. Nun 2 is a good film, and you get filled in on bits only briefly described in the other box set films. Not quite as good as Nun 1 but don't really have anything negative to say otherwise, I still really enjoyed it! Continuing with the series until I get to la llorona and will leave a separate review for that!

Did you enjoy the original "THE NUN"? If you did (I did with reservations), then it is a sure bet you will like this slice of exorcist type tthriller. Taissa Farmiga is again excellent as "the Nun" and is well supported by Storm Read and Anna Popplwell as young in big peril Sylvia (I think) the daughter of a teacher at the religious boarding school for girls where most of the action takes place. A bit slow burning but some excellent shocks and not too many sudd3en loud noises, so often used by directors to scare us. A good105 mins., with good picture, sound and subtitles. (P.S. It may help if you did see the original, but don't worry, there are some flashbacks and you won't really have missed out. Also do watch right to the end of the credits) Not quite a 5 star - Very dark for the majority of the film and just lacking that final "oomph" for me anyway.

I've bought this because I have the first one it was very good not seen this one yet but I've been told it does not disappoint

Item arrived on time and as described. 2023 sequel to The Nun - Sister Irene comes face-to- face with the sinister force Valak - the Demon Nun. No extras or bonus features. Subtitles: English and other languages. Run Time: 105 Mins. Approx. Case, paper cover and disc all in good condition. The movie itself is watchable, but not as good as the first movie.

I really didn't expected for this movie. The first Nun was far from good compare to The Conjuring 2 and Although the director is one of my favorite since I saw his movie The Curse of La Llorona, I still didn't had high hope. How good can it be if the first new chapter called THE NUNE was that bad? But, it was a pleasant surprise. there were so many good moments. Horrifying, humane, Sci-fi shots. And the back ground music was so powerful too. If you have a low expectation like I do, please take a chance and watch this movie. I am so pleased that I had a chance to watch this with Dolby Atmos sound at home. I will keep this and watch from time to time. This was almost as good as The Conjuring 2 to me.
