Great camera. Good quality picture and user friendly.

I bought this camera a few weeks ago and was surprised at how easy it was to set up. I just screwed it into the light socket, connected it to WiFi, and it started working right away. The image is very clear, even at night, and the two-way audio sounds great. The app is intuitive and notifies me every time it detects movement, which gives me peace of mind when I’m not at home. It also looks discreet just like a regular light bulb — so it doesn’t attract attention. It’s perfect for monitoring the front door or backyard without any hassle. Great value for the price. I’ll definitely buy more of these for other areas of my home. Highly recommended, don’t miss out on yours!

Pros: Well worth the cheap price. 10 minutes to set up. Lots of features, 24-7 recording but with Cloud storage for a cost. It does offer local mini sd card storage. Can track motion and set to track humans only. Can give descriptive detail of what triggers the motion recording via push notifications.Great video quality and as shown in the attached pic the night vision IR technology is crazy awesome. Both photos taken at the same time just after 11pm. The bottom color photo was taken by my cell phone showing how dark my backyard into my neighbors yard is. With absolutely no lights on the B&W IR image of the bulb camera illuminates both my yard and the neighbors with awesome detail. Again….both images are at the same time showing the same view. No lights are on!!! Cons: it doesn’t come with a as card. The camera has AI technology but you have to buy a plan to have access to using it. All in all I would recommend this bulb camera for a basic camera to have. I’ve only had it in use for two days so not able to comment how well it will hold up in rain, extreme heat or cold weather.

Camera has been fantastic. I needed something I could install into a light socket and this one looked promising. Rotation was a key, because I would need to be able to have custom view angled downward a bit to get my porch so I can keep an eye on deliveries when not at home. Because I was only interested in a set view, I don't use the tracking ability it has to follow subjects. So I can't speak how well that works. The app allows me to set 6 preset views, which is nice if I need to just click on where i want this pointed, without using the manual adjustment. Picture has been great. Even the night. Audio sounds a bit hallow, but I've been able to make out conversations ok. It picked up my wifi signal pretty good, surprisingly because my router is upstairs and opposite side of house. It did say signal was weak but has not disconnected on me once. But I did decide to get a wifi extender to put downstairs and this did bump up my connection to medium. So why 4 stars? It comes down to the app and it's just being nit picky. The notification that someone has been detected takes about 10 sec before I'm alerted. But it does alert me and captures it all. I am using an SD card and not the cloud service, so not sure if that makes a difference. I have the sensitivity set to medium and humanoid detection. Old footage on the SD card gets overwritten when full but you can save clips and pics to your phone. I tried to use the pc client but couldn't get past some steps, but i think it may have been because the verification code and other contact info I got has been going to my spam folder, so I'll try again tonight. Sometimes the alert screen shots I get are doubled, even though it was a different capture. If i go into playback, I can see the actual motion captured. But this doesn't happen often. I'll show example in picture. Also I would like if the app allowed me to play the motion captured from clicking on the thumbnail alert and jump to that moment, but it doesn't. At least not with an SD card. You need to note the time of the capture and just go into playback mode and scroll to the time. But it's nice that the timeline does have indications on where it detected motion even if it didn't alert you because of your settings. Overall I'm very happy and will have to see how well this holds up over time and through the winter.

First time ever to purchase a lightbulb security camera. Very easy to install. Everything was working fine. Received on April 9, 2025. This last week of June the alarm and intercom stopped working. I reset it. Went into the app and added it again. Nada. I don’t know what happened. I can still view the outside but I don’t get alerts when people are near. Great storage capacity since once the micro sd card is full it will write over the old stuff. Any memories from outside family gatherings you can save to the files on your phone or computer. I really like this product and I will buy it again. Perhaps night flying bugs got in the light fixture. I blew out the surrounding area of the light fixture with a can of air and small dead debris flew out. Probably a maintenance issue due to night flying bugs being attracted to the light? Storage capacity: Great. Picture quality: It’s fair especially for the price. You can screenshot images which is also handy for enlarging the photo. Connectivity: Was very easy to setup and connect. Sensitivity: When the alarm was working I noticed it was very sensitive to human and vehicle motion. Talk ability: It was a great feature for thanking delivery drivers and talking to the lawn care workers. Features: images in color all day. At night it is black and white but you choose night vision and when there’s human or vehicle motion it’s all in color. UPDATE: Bottom line I would not waste more money on this product. The above comment was before I just noticed that the device is not even recording anymore. It’s telling me to purchase a Cloud account. I found out that there has been a recent update for this device. I’m glad I hadn’t clicked submit. I came back specifically to discuss the latest issue. NOT Recording. I can however, view my property. I read complaints that after the update when you opened the app you got a full page ad about buying a Cloud account. That doesn’t seem to give you the opportunity to cancel it. Read contract carefully. Maybe the 3 days or 7 days Cloud account would be safe. But that’s more money. No thanks. So, I’m not positive whether night flying bugs caused the problems I’m experiencing. When the ordinary light bulb was being used it never stopped working. Night flying bugs are attracted to light!! But it’s definitely suspicious that the device is not working after the update and ever since I’ve had it I’ve gotten popup Cloud ads before I could view my property. Then with the update I too got full page ads before being able to use the app. Before purchasing I read a review which said that if you don’t buy the Cloud account after a while the app stops working. Two months of use is a waste of good money.

I am so glad I got this one, needed an upgrade for 5G WiFi, this has such crisp clear video viewing. Still learning new features etc but its what I needed and I couldn't be more satisfied with the results! Sound quality great!, movements , great! Sensitivity , Excellent! And I love the black color on top of everything else. No wiring, or cables necessary. Just make sure you got 2 - 5 G router availability and the rest is like a completed puzzle. I love the tracking that this picks up on. Thank you!

I like how this model using exiting light sockets to simply plug in and operate. If you have a location without a light socket, you can buy a socket that hangs and has a cord that plugs into the wall for power and still use these cameras. I have 6 of these cameras set up around my house, and the clarity of these 2k cameras is so much better than the 720p cameras they replaced. You can opt for online storage, or, you can use a microSD card. I personally go the microSD card route as it saves money in the long run. The motion detection works well. If you review your recordings, it makes two marks ... one for motion, one for human detection. I've been able to go back and review footage for a couple events already in my neighborhood. So valuable for real-time monitoring (I have dogs outside) and just to see who is at the door. So far, these have held up well. One camera that is exposed to direct sunlight all day is yellowing, and recently the picture seems a little blurry, which might be the lens. I've ordered this one as a replacement. The software works well and the cameras have a lot that can be configured. It connects easily and effortlessly to my home wifi - setup is easy and intuitive. Overall, I highly recommend these cameras at this price point.

Very clear picture, even at night. You get a free 7 day trial then they want you to buy their cloud storage. I did not buy it and the camera works fine. Only buy the cloud if you want the special features. I believe it is around 60.00 a year. Setup was easy. Just screw into socket and flip your light switch on and follow directions. It also comes with a socket so you can plug into an outlet outside. For the price I would definitely recommend trying it.
