These are really great. They are calm, clean, heavyweight, really do the job. I use them for my healing practice both professionally and also with friends and family members. They balance the traditional Tok Sen techniques with the blend of both physical healing but also a sound energetic healing. Very happy to recommend them. These are great value at a great price.

I use these Tok Sen tools in my M.D. practice of pain management. Most of my patients respond favorably to the vibrational healing quality of these wooden instruments. I use them on myself with a pleasant result as well. The tools are well crafted with good contours, a smoothly sanded texture and a handsome stain. They fit your hands just right. Just holding them feels healing and soothing. I do believe that wood itself has a healing quality. My patients seem to respond favorably to the acoustical aspect of Tok Sen as well. The rhythmic tapping is very meditative. It gets you out of your head. Muscles become more relaxed, nerves are calmed, circulation is improved and as one of my patients stated, “you just become more clear.” These are the benefits of this vibrational and accupressure medicine tool.

Tok Sen tools are not easy to come by at this time, but I suspect in a very few more years they will be everywhere now that people are discovering this type of massage. When you do find the tools they are usually very expensive, coming in sets of 12-15 pieces for $300. This is a very basic starter set and are very well made. Simple design, very functional, and the mallet is very thick and weighted. The picture of the tools here just does not do justice to the items. You will be very pleased with these and for the price they are the best option for anyone just learning about Tok Sen. I would love to see this company make some of the other shapes available for individual or small set purchases!

Order took a little less than a month to arrive from Thailand. After the wait, it's been a great purchase. Less than $40 for solid, well crafted wooden massage tools is a bargain. Buy, is an easy recommendation to make for those of you who are Thai massage practitioners or skilled massage therapists. I like it's calming effect on the paraspinal muscles.
