The price is a bit much... The quality is real good though.

I'm an avid user of my jaybird x3 ear buds. They go around my neck first thing as I leave the house in the am, and I fall asleep with them listening to an audio book ever night. Daily they usually see around 10 hours of use. I use them at the gym 4-5 times per week. At office all day to talk, listen to music and as my laptop sound. Keeping fresh quality foam tips is essential for a good fit, sound, and blocking of ambient noise. Unfortunately, the foam does have a relatively short life (2-3 weeks) with all this use. I personally don't like the alternative rubber cushion for fit, or sound quality. Jaybird supplied the initial set of foam pads which are Comply brand cushions. After they wear out, your own your own to get replacements either through Comply directly or through Amazon. There cost is generally $20+ for 3 pairs which I've been buying for years. I was excited seeing these alternatives for $8 and was very happy with there quality. They are just as good for fit and ambient noise reduction and very near the sound quality you get from the Comply (definitely doesn't justify the cost difference). Also, these seem to last at least another week than the Comply for me even with my heavy use! Just an FYI I'm a long time jaybird user so wanted to point out these will also work on jaybird x2! Thanks ALXCD! Keep the price low and quality high.

I bought these to replace my comply ear tips that came with my jaybird x3's. These I think may be more comfortable and more durable than the comply tips were by quite a bit. I have had multiple headsets and purchased comply tips for a few of them, and they always tend to tear within a month or two of having them on the buds. I've had the same pair on my earbuds now for about 3 weeks and they barely show any signs of use on them, and I use them almost all day every day. I definitely recommend giving these a try as they are a great replacement and alternative to comply foam tips.

I love my Jaybird X3 headphones for both everyday listening and workouts; the headphone are very durable, but I went through the earbud tips fast. The smooth silicone/rubber earbud tips were OK, but in time the silicon softened, they become `loose` and I gradually lost them. The foam ones basically disintegrate in a couple of weeks of wear, so I needed a replacement. The ALXCD earbud tips fit perfectly my Jaybird X3, but are quite different from the original ones (medium size). The ALXCD ones are a little larger in diameter and shorter; the material is denser and smoother. Since they are a little wider and stiffer than the original ones, the medium size is a little too big for my ears. But the earbuds become more comfortable with time, since the material gets softer with wear. Also, since the surface is smoother than for the original ones, the ALXCD earbud tips tend to get slippery if you have a sweaty ear/workout. The earbud tips provide some noise isolation, but they are not noise cancelling; that's great for me because I still want to be aware of the noises around me when I walk, hike or run. The earbuds can be easily cleaned, but I don't use water; I use isopropyl alcohol to disinfect regularly the headphones, including the earbud tips. This product comes with a tiny fiber cleaning cloth which is actually handy for wiping electronics in general. The ALXCD earbud tips still splits and tear after a couple of weeks of wear, and the wear starts to be visible even from the first wears. But that happens with the original earbud tips as well, I got to consider the Jaybirds X3 tips as a consumable. I would still say they are slightly more durable than the original bud tips.
