I love this book. It's a pleasure to read and makes simple the complexities of convincing acting. Anyone serious about acting, or merely curious, should read.

Good read

I was looking for a Christmas gift for my hard-to-buy-for daughter who is active in her college drama program. An actor I met suggested this volume. It turned out to be a hit on Christmas Day. It is a small volume although I understand the author has written more advanced books for those who are ready to move from the amateur to the professional level.

Thought it was very interesting , I could not put it down UTA really gets into the depths of things we really do not think about when acting but really should , she makes you be aware of being aware of everything , great read for any actor any level a must for the collection well done

I recently went to see a new show on Broadway and after we go get signatures. My brother always asks the stars for advice as he’s also an actor and the biggest name of the show recommended this book to him. I hopped on and ordered as a gift for him right away!
