I’d read that keeping electrolytes topped up might help, and wanted something reasonably priced to try without committing to a huge tub. The taste is pleasant - light blackcurrant flavour that reminds me a bit of squash. It’s not overly sweet, which I personally prefer. Dissolves well in water with no noticeable residue left at the bottom of the cup. I usually add one tablet to around 700ml of water, give it a quick stir, and it’s good to go after a minute or so. In terms of effectiveness, I can’t say I feel dramatically more hydrated, but I do find it easier to drink than plain water, and the cramps I was experiencing have eased, which is what I was hoping for. I’ve been using one a day at home, but the tube packaging makes it easy to take on the go if needed. The lid can be a bit fiddly to open sometimes, although that may partly be down to me having long nails rather than an issue with the tube itself! Overall, I think these are good value and a handy option if you struggle to drink plain water or want a simple way to add electrolytes without anything too overly sweet.
