Immediately after taking a teaspoon daily, I began to see the effects! I was having horrible digestive problems and think I had a leaky gut with a sharp pain in one small part of my lower intestines, about the size of a pea. Along with crazy bloating and gas through all parts including colon and liver. I was extremely low on energy and didnt sleep well either. Now after my first bottle, the pain is gone, bloating, gas and things flow pretty normal...YEAH! Sleeping better and much better energy. When I had these symptoms, I had talked to my Dr. and he said we need to send you to gastrointestinal professional....ugh and they will want tests...oh no I did that before and its horrible drinking liquid dyed chalk after not eating for a day and I don't want dyes in my body! I smiled and just said ok....then 3 months later I had an appointment and he addressed my problem again and why wasn't I taking my anti-inflamatory prescription? I told him I was choosing to take more of a holistic approach and started taking Black Seed Oil (in capsules at that time) and it did help with my painful inflammation (I have spinalstenosis). He kinda grunted and said holistic?? Then I purchased a bottle of this Black Seed Oil because the capsules were actually causing me more pain in my gut and not alot of improvement. Good grief I had to take 2-3 a day of these great big capsules so I decided to look further. Started watching YouTube videos and reading reviews here on Amazon. Had my little checklist of must haves....organic, certified and mostly good reviews. Decided on this one to try and so happy I did!! It is the real deal! I'm on my second bottle (both bottles never leaked in shipping and sealed and first one having an extra seal to make sure it would not leak). Yep the taste isn't great but after a couple of times I totally got used to it. Plug your nose between two fingers....whatever because its worth it!! Get tough and out of your comfort zone if you are saying eewww I can't do this! Again its only momentarily and doesn't last long! Much better than taking huge big capsules everyday. My son got super sick (not Covid thankfully) and I insisted he take a teaspoon of it and he was back to work the next morning at 7 a.m. after being miserable and in bed for 3 days. He lives with me and I never caught whatever he had. So many things have changed for me since taking! My hair isn't as dry, my skin feels softer (I only take internally, teaspoon a day). I have better energy, my knees don't ache as much, digestion is almost perfect (no little painful spot in stomach area or gut leak) no bloating, constipation, or gas! I am sleeping much better and bladder leak stopped and inflammation GONE! One big thing I have noticed too is minimal migraines that I have had all my life....big improvement! I haven't lost weight but I wasn't trying either...I'm at my feel good weight. My elbows aren't dry and I really do not have sweet tooth cravings unless I eat a Iot of sweets which is addictive and makes you crave more sweets....,sugar should be on a list with transfats....its toxic for our bodies! I love this Black Seed Oil and it is part of my daily morning routine. I prefer to take with food. Some say on empty stomach but I don't agree. As long as this company remains honest and sells the same product, I'm in! I highly recommend this product and NO I did not get any compensation for writing this review and I paid full price for it. I don't know if there is a better product out there and honestly I don't care as long as they keep up the quality of this....I am thrilled to keep purchasing unless they get crazy priced. $20+ including tax is reasonable when its been so beneficial! P.S. I tried sneaking it into my dog's food and that was a disaster. She would not eat for days thinking it was in her food and I was trying to poison her...I think but she didn't say it. If I could disguise the flavor, I would also give it to her too daily.

I don’t think this stuff tastes nearly as bad as many reviewers are saying. I just mix it with water and swallow. The taste doesn’t linger, and I’d describe it as herbal and oily. The flavor goes away very quickly, especially if you chase it or brush your teeth after. Please look at the benefits and stop caring about a brief taste in your mouth. Anyway: I started taking BSO to get off of kratom, which I was taking *entirely* too much of. While the BSO did mildly ease the withdrawal symptoms after the first few doses, I mostly noticed the benefits of BSO a few weeks after daily use (one tablespoon a day in the AM): My hair is shiny and soft. It doesn’t get oily, it seems very, very balanced. Same goes for my skin. No zits, except the occasional hormonal chin pimple, but those are even reduced to a smaller size, and heal much faster. All my skin seems to heal faster, and I never apply this topically- only oral ingestion. I don’t fall asleep faster, but I stay asleep, and much more soundly. My bowels have finally regulated after the kratom abuse. I have no heartburn to speak of at all, anymore. I haven’t gotten bloodwork done (doc’s office canceled due to COVID.) If not for the health benefits (which haven’t been very noticeable - maybe when I get my bloodwork it’ll be a different story) but for the totally unexpected beauty benefits! My skin is so soft, I even think I smell better overall (sorry if TMI). I recommend this stuff to all my girls for shiny hair, soft skin, and to stay balanced in general. Great stuff. I’ll keep purchasing, for sure!

I just did a review asking if my issue was resolved??? I received in my email??? I did not have an issue with this product!! I read thoroughly about it before purchases and I know how much to take for how long, product was fine!!!

I wasn't really sure what to expect. The smell and taste reminds me of pine needles, sap, earthy forest, but slightly chemically and astringent. I don't hate it, but I don't love it. It's mild enough that I can take it straight with a swig of something, but strong enough that I don't think you could mix it into food and enjoy it. I try and consume it with something with a strong flavor, or else you'll be burping up that taste all day long.

If you are taking black seed oil you know the benefits of it. This one works for us. It tastes horrible, so be ready, but the benefits outweigh the taste. We have found it easiest to put a teaspoonful into a small amount of green juice and then drink it in one big swallow.

I've added this ZHOU organic black seed oil to an ever increasing list of natural supplements I use to help manage back/joint pain. I took it for the first time today, and had some relief, about the same I'd get if I took Advil. It's not a control, since I also added alpha lipoic acid for the first time as well. I'll have to try it without the ALA to know for sure if it was the black seed oil that did it. Just excited to have some relief, as I can no longer take ibuprofen. Update: I took this again today, without the alpha lipoic acid & can say definitively it relieves pain for me, even better than over the counter products like Advil. I took 3 Tbsp & was able to skateboard for the first time in months & do yard work. The taste is bitter, but not horrible & totally work the pain relief it brings.

Tastes not so great but helped me with my skin and digestion!

For this Nigella Sativa Oil, I used in combination with Tamanu Oil, Pure Vitamin E Oil and Frankincense EO, as my daily after bath face and body oil to prevent Eczema, Spots and Wrinkles (I'm in my 50s, lucky no wrinkles yet) Also, I had been taking Nigella Sativa Oil (in Softgels) for almost a year. Before taking I used to have frequent leg cramp and Spinal Ache (to the extent of walking hunch back). After taking about more than a month my leg cramp and Spinal ache didn't seem to reoccur. I have tried many Nigella Sativa Oil brands available, and would recommend those harvested from Turkey are of better quality and reliable.
