I absolutely love this thing - works with Jtech splitters
So far I like this box a lot, it takes in various HDMI sources and outputs 4k/60hz as well as lesser resolutions if you want. 4 1080p or 4k inputs look great in the split modes output at 4k. You can also pick the audio and it has aux audio out to run the variable audio to an amp or avr. The aux audio has a volume level control which is huge. I am also using 1:4 Jtech splitters going into this unit without any trouble (and splitting the output), where I want to send a signal both to this box and other displays. This is useful to be able to show sources 2-4 full size on another display while you’re using this box to show 4 sources, because the display modes are a bit fixed… you can’t for example show source 2 as the big portion with sources 1, 3, and 4 as the small side screens. Some other passive 2 in 1 out splitters into this didn’t play well, so my .02 if you’re going to work with a bunch of splitters in or out use the 4k jtech splitters or powered 4k switches. My only real issue is the remote isn’t great and it’s critical to run the box. So I bought a couple cheap all-button learning remotes and are using them, keeping the original safe. They work and feel better, and I was able to program in power buttons for all my displays.

Excellent solution to get a signal to my TV.
Ordered this to replace an Atlona system I've had for years. Selected JTech after doing some research. Quick and easy to set up, works flawlessly. Quick shipping. Haven't tried the IR blaster. It works both ways, but only came with cables for one direction. Very happy with this purchase.

Great for long run between AVR and TV
I used this to deal with signal timing issues dues to a long (45ft) run between my AVR and my television. Worked great. Note that this unit does not appear to support ARC/eARC - but does support HDMI-CEC. So it is designed for the AVR to be the center of the setup, like my setup, and not the TV.

A Love Hate Relationship
I have had this device for about four months. I wanted to love it but sadly I can't get past the B- performance of the device. For the most part, it does what I want, primarily the ability to watch multiple football games at once. To accomplish this I use my standard Comcast receiver, then added an additional Comcast receiver, plus an Apple TV. Redzone, local game, ESPN app, life is good. That said, several minor items need improvement. Here's the rub on why this product doesn't rate better: 1. Audio handling. Within the menu settings, you can manually set the audio to WIN1. This means that whatever is on the screen, you'll receive the audio. Okay, fine. However, when selecting a different feed from the multimode, the audio then become HDMI 1, 2, etc. The issue is when a person (my wife) goes to use a different input than was previously selected, the audio does not follow the selection. If the audio just stayed on WIN1, it wouldn't be a problem, but it doesn't; this has to be set manually within the menu or toggled through on the remote. Which brings me to the next issue... 2. The remote: Very clunky and lightweight. The buttons feel like they'll stop responding any day. It is frequently unresponsive with "the fix" being point-plank range from the IR sensor. 3. 4K? Not really. There are very few things that are broadcast in 4K. The only broadcast that is consistently sent in 4K is the FOX 12:00 Big Ten game. When I connect directly to my TV, I can view this in 4K. However, when I run through the mixer, Comcast responds with "This input does not support 4K." 4. Audio sluggishness. When switching audio feeds it takes about 4 seconds, which seems unnecessary. 5. I had one input go out so I had to switch to the remaining open input. The 3 by 6*9 is cool (as shown). I just wish there was an onscreen selector via remote to easily switch the audio focus without having to cycle through all four inputs. Back in 2001, I had a Sony HDTV that allowed the user to easily switch between multiple feeds, resize pictures in pictures, and switch audio effortlessly. Since then, I've never seen a TV or mixer box get this right. It seems easy but for some reason, no manufacturer has figured it out. The quest continues...

Old operating system
Do not buy, it’s software is outdated. Returns taking weeks for the credit.

Good value, works great
The product is simple and quality of the hdmi signal was great over a 100 ft distance. Pretty good value for what it costs. The other versions offer inferior specs for the cost.
