Aesthetics and quality count.
So glad I held out for these and treated myself. They are reasonably priced and excellent quality. Love the balance and weight of them. Every meal is now a luxury moment even if the dish doesn’t quite match the cutlery. Aesthetics are important.

Perfect
One of the best items that I've purchased on Amazon is the Thermos flask that I purchased eleven years ago. I've been hill walking almost every weekend since purchasing it, about 48 out of 52 weekends a year, and it still allows us to brew-up. I can already tell that this cutlery set is going to be a contender for the best ever item that I've purchased from Amazon. No jagged edges, nicely balanced, just so nice.

Too dainty for my big hands
Too thin and too small. Really wasn’t for me. So I sent these back and were accepted without quibble Still looking for a decent set of good quality cutlery but few places do anything I like. Company have since told me they do a sample offering where in these times of COVID you can request samples of cutlery until you find things to suit you.

Poor functional design
Classic example of form over function. No balance especially knives meaning they fall off your plate and good luck eating your cornflakes with the desert spoons without dripping milk all over yourself and table.
