Works as advertised!
Wondered if this would actually work but it is exactly as described. Have painted it all over a variety of wallpapers and it is absolutely unobservable.

Four Stars
Expensive but worth it in some situations.

I use Polyvine Decorators Varnish-dead flat finish. It always leaves a brilliant finish. I use mainly over furniture paint, occasionally over Polyvine wood dye. I always give at least 2 coats. If I use over wood dye, I give 3 or 4 coats for that extra durability. I've found applying with a good synthetic brush leaves the best results. It gives best performance & dries in good time. Polyvine every time. Cleans up with warm water.

It was to seal some very old oak beams(400 yrs old) that I had sandblasted to get the black paint stripped. I didn’t want to darken the beams and Polyvine worked well and was easy to apply. Not runny which could have dripped everywhere.

very good product , used this years ago to protect woodwork after I had stripped it down in a victorian house - good protective finish .. trying this on oak kitchen tops .. will probably need lots of coats but worth it as I don't like high gloss
