So Delicious!
These are so delicious! I appreciate that they have vegan options, because I've heard people rave about these but I didn't think I could enjoy any. These are a lovely treat for when you want something sweet without having to deal with a blood sugar spike, because they only have 1 gram of sugar. There's a crisp, chocolate coating around a layer of smooth caramel and chewy peanuts. The consistency is similar to a candy bar. I'll definitely be getting these again.

A delicious, sweet treat with an impressive amount of protein.
I discovered Barebell Protein Bars about 18 months ago. They are the best protein bars I have every tasted and the only ones I have ever repurchased. I have tried many of their flavors, and while they're all good, I definitely had a favorite--Salty Peanut. Then I tried Caramel Choco, and now I have two favorites. These bars are every bit a tasty as a candy bar, have no added sugar, and have an impressive amount of protein. Top it all off with a reasonable calorie count and a good price, and they're a winner all the way around. I like to cut these bars into 8 pieces and grab 1 or 2 when I start to get hungry or am craving a treat. I keep them in small air tight containers--one in the kitchen and one in the car. I also keep full bars around for a quick meal replacement. I have at least part of a Caramel Choco or Salty Peanut bar everyday. It's a sweet I can feel good about eating.

Good protein bars
Surprisingly good. I’ve had countless protein bars in my life. These are soft, have good macros and are a good choice if you don’t have access to Whole Foods readily. The peanut caramel is delicious

Yummy
One of my favorite protein bars. Slightly tangy with a little bit of crunch. I also love the cherry flavor. I first tried these at Harmons grocery and love that I can get them for a better price here.

Great product, but flavor lacking
Great for the amount of protein and feeling full. Not overly hard or chewy either.. They also don't taste chalky like other protein bars.. I do think the lemon isn't a very strong flavor. I've had the key lime and wild cherry and both of those flavors tasted more like their description than the lemon cheesecake. The lemon cheesecake just doesn't have as much lemon flavor as I hoped for.

Best-tasting protein bars that don't taste like protein bars at all!
These Barebells Cookies & Cream protein bars have completely revolutionized my approach to healthy snacking and post-workout nutrition - the quality is outstanding with premium ingredients that deliver 20 grams of high-quality protein without any of that chalky, artificial taste that ruins most other protein bars on the market. The functionality is perfect as they satisfy my sweet tooth cravings while actually supporting my fitness goals, and I love how they keep me full and energized for hours whether I'm using them as a quick breakfast replacement, post-gym fuel, or afternoon pick-me-up when I need something substantial but healthy. They look great with appealing packaging that makes them feel like a premium treat rather than a boring supplement, and the texture is absolutely incredible - seriously tastes like a real candy bar with chunks of cookie pieces and smooth chocolate coating that makes it hard to believe these are actually good for you. At this price point for a 12-count box, it's fantastic value compared to buying individual protein bars at convenience stores or coffee shops, and having a stash of these in my gym bag, office drawer, and kitchen pantry has completely eliminated my temptation to grab unhealthy snacks when hunger strikes, making them an essential part of maintaining my nutrition goals without sacrificing taste or satisfaction - honestly these taste so good that my non-fitness friends are constantly stealing them from me.

Creamy Crisp protein bars that actually taste great
🍫 I’m usually not a protein bar fan — most of them land in the “tolerable at best” category for me — but the Creamy Crisp Barebells have legitimately changed that opinion. The texture is pleasant (not chalky or weird), the flavor actually tastes decadent without crossing into that fake-sugary territory, and it hits that snack/“treat” vibe without making me regret it after one bite. The only real drawback is availability: this flavor seems to be sold out on Amazon a lot, which is a bummer when you find something good. At least one box of 12 lasts a decent stretch, so it’s not too hard to stretch your supply. ✅ Delicious and palatable texture; rich flavor without fake sweetness; satisfying enough to treat as a snack or post-workout bite. ❌ This flavor tends to sell out frequently.

Great Macros, Good Value, Middle of the Pack for Me
I’ve tried a lot of protein bars over the years — more than 80 different varieties at this point. I even keep a spreadsheet where I score each one from 1–10 on flavor, texture, macros, and price. So, I’d definitely call myself a “bar nerd.” The Barebells Creamy Crisp bar earns a spot in my top 15 overall, which is no small feat considering the competition. The macros are excellent (plenty of protein for the calories, without excess sugar), and the price point is very fair compared to other premium protein bars. It’s also filling enough to serve as a quick meal replacement or post-workout snack. That said, the Creamy Crisp flavor isn’t my personal favorite. It’s good, but a little on the sweet side for me, and it doesn’t quite stand out the way Barebells’ Oreo or Peanut Butter bars do. Those two I’d put in my top tier. Texture-wise, Creamy Crisp is pleasant and not chalky — more like a candy bar than a “protein” bar, which is a big win for Barebells as a brand. If you’re new to Barebells, I’d absolutely recommend trying this flavor as part of a variety pack. It’s a strong contender with great nutrition and no real flaws, but for my taste buds it falls just short of the best of the best. Bottom line: Creamy Crisp is a great choice if you want solid macros, a fair price, and a bar that doesn’t taste like cardboard. For me, it’s very good but not elite. Still, making my personal top 15 out of 80+ bars says a lot about its quality.
