Good weight maintainer for older horses.
I feed two scoops to all my horses young and old. I add it to beet pulp soaked in warm water. Their hair coats, hooves, and body mass have improved and stay steady.

Fantastic Weight Builder Product!!
Absolutely love this stuff!! I have a Belgian that has Lymphoma and had lost a substantial amount of weight. The vet put him on some steroids and a weight gain supplement that was more of a vitamin oil. When that ran out, I searched for something to help him gain his weight back. I was feeding him his feed, Strategy, and beet pulp along with alfalfa hay. Then I added the Pennwoods Body Builder 4000 and oh wow!! What a difference it has made!! He is looking soooo fantastic and has energy!! I am only feeding him the lowest dose since he’s not working anymore. Now I’m thinking about putting his shoes back on! He has so much energy and is feeling so much better!! I have read that some horses don’t like the taste, well, mine loves it! A bag is lasting longer than other products I have used for weight management as well! Again, I love this stuff!!! Thanks Pennwoods!!

this is good stuff - put weight on horses but way over priced. flaxseed powder is 29.00

Works great for my Senior horse coming out of winter needing a little TLC to help get him back into good condition. Repeat purchase

Did not deliver
One full bag later with no noticeable difference on any of my horses. I have a variety of ages and breeds each with different working needs. I feed free choice quality forage. Full time pasture and daily grain and supplements. I was hoping this product would add that edge to their appearance and coat. And it made no difference 3* for palatability it smells like cake and the horses always ate it. But it did not deliver
