72in Cocoon Corpse

The cocoon corpse is a fantastic and traditional Halloween decoration! The material is soft and lightweight, making it easy to compress for storage, though it is a bit fragile, if you treat it cautiously, you shouldn't have any issues. I had a similar one that lasted for years before the material started to break down, and this seems to be of similar quality, so I’m satisfied with it. The foam head and feet add a great touch, making it look more realistic, like a trapped victim in a web. It also has fishing loops on both ends, so you can hang it however you like. If it holds up as long as my last one, I’ll be very happy with it! As good as any others I have seen, can't go wrong!

As I read through the negative product reviews, one question comes to mind: What did you expect? It's a cheap Halloween decoration. That's all it was meant to be. It's not a high quality movie prop. "It's smaller than I thought (this one always gets me.") "It's cheap cotton like what they make fake spider webs out of." Did you not read the details? It tells you how big this thing is. You have to read. It tells you what it's made out. Again, you ha e to read. I can't believe anybody would be shocked that getting it wet can ruin it. It looks great as part of our setup, and we are happy with the purchase. We were smart enough to hang it under a covered porch, so we will get more than one use out of it.

This prop delivers exactly what you want if you’re building a creepy scene. At 72 inches, it has a full‑size presence, and the cocooned design gives it a convincingly eerie look without being over the top. It’s lightweight, easy to hang or position, and durable enough to reuse for multiple seasons. Great value for adding a dramatic, unsettling touch to any Halloween display. Good product, but did not hold up in the rainy season. Practical and can be installed anywhere basically.

Bought this hoping it would be of pretty decent quality like the picture shows for the price it was. Opened it up (was in a tiny foot long plastic bag crunched up), and was instantly disappointed. The reviews that say you can make this for less than 10 bucks from the dollar store at Halloween time are completely correct. The item is made so cheap, and is completely see through if there is any sort of light (even sunlight) behind it. The skull is super small and is made of foam, along with the feet, which are also ridiculously small. I might just return this because the value is absolutely not there for the price. If it looked like the picture did, and was even the same shape (I even tried bending the wires inside of it to make the shape more realistic, and you just can't - it becomes paper thin if you try and make it less blocky...) I'd have kept it, but I really do think this one will go back for no reason other than inferior quality control for a price point that's way too high to accept.

I bought this last year and stored it in the garage-- my cat decided to 'make it his own' and urinate on it and I had to throw it out. This is by far one of my favorite decorations, it's simple in design, extremely easy to store (it just folds up, not really filled with anything but gives the illusion of weight) Halloween is the time of year my wife and I go crazy and spiders are our thing and this just ties everything together; It's usually hung close to my front door and it's always a favorite, I have a giant spider crawling from it and it's a crowd favorite. In my video you can't really make it out too well, but you can get a general feeling of the size-- It does look like a full 'cocooned' corpse, especially after adding some more elements such as a crawling spider, additional webbing etc. It's just wrapped in your standard 'Halloween webbing so if you want to tweak it or add more that's all you need. It's an awesome decoration and I haven't found it anywhere but Amazon and Halloween stores. My video shows it briefly hanging to the right of my front door-- I apologize about the quality, but it gives you a good idea of the size and quality.

Got a fair number of compliments on this guy! The "body" is simply a spiral coil of stiff wire wrapped in green-ish net-like cloth (like that creepy cloth), which is then wrapped in that stretchy polyester spider webbing, but unless it's back-lit you can't really tell. Looks great to me. Two rather minor drawbacks: 1. It's fairly light - meaning it REALLY flies around in any kind of wind (> 10mph). I hung it with its feet just above the bottom edge of an adjoining roof line, and after one windy day I found it laying in the gutter. It had blown completely horizontal and flopped onto the roof itself. Ended up slitting open the netting at the back of the head on putting in a baseball-sized rock. Now it has a nice gentle sway that makes it look alive. 2. As some say, leaves do stick to it. But I only had maybe a dozen, and if you're reasonably careful they come off without too much hassle. Just like a fabric thread you don't just pull them off. I simply snipped the few strands that wouldn't easily come free (before pulling them out too far), brushed the loose end(s) back into the webs, and didn't have a problem.

Super cute decoration. Halloween is my favorite holiday and this year I decided to decorate more indoors since I don’t think we’ll be getting many trick or treaters. I decided to hang this in my living room but didn’t want to put any wholes in my wall or ceiling. It’s light enough that it’s now hanging comfortably with a .5 lb command strip and hook. And doesn’t look like it’s going to fall anytime soon. The wire connected to its feet is very sturdy and hangs well. I will say it does feel like it won’t last very long if you don’t store it well. I could see it being eaten by moths or just getting shredded if not handles well. The webs especially do pull when the latch onto things so be carful.

Its not too bad, its a tall prop but not very wide. It weighs next to nothing so it won't cause any damage being hung up. It'll do the job being hung up for Halloween, was it worth £19?? Hmmm no ! You can can get voice activated/moving props for less. Ive added photos so you can hopefully see a size reference
