works perfectly and is accurate but be aware that these WILL fail eventually.
i've gone through about 20 of these in my lifetime. i continue to get them cause they are relatively cheap, accurate, and last about 6 months. that being said, they have all failed eventually, as in they started to be off by 20 degrees. thats when i know its time to dump it and get a new one. if you smoke/bbq frequently like me, always be wary these can fail at any time, which can be a huge issue if you think your meat is one temperature and it turns out its 20 degrees off. that being said, while they are working they are accurate within 1-2 degrees.

Works with Yunbaoit wireless thermometers
I have a Yunbaoit wireless meat thermometer I use when smoking meats. Works great but after three years I was down to one probe which finally fell apart when I was smoking turkeys on Easter. I couldn't find Yunbaoit branded replacement probes. In the reviews of this product someone mentioned that they would work with other brands and that the important thing was that these had '2.5mm jack's or something similar. These plugged straight in to my thermometer and worked perfectly. I tested temps against a handheld digital thermometer and they were spot on so I didn't need to even calibrate them with my wireless thermometer.

They do their job
Plugged into my thermopro and both were reading the same temp. I smoke meats about 2-3 times a month and i get a few months out of these before they need to be replaced. that is fine with me for the price point. They even provide you with a clip. they read quickly also that is something that is important. Smoke On!!

Probes are recording different temps
I had a grease fire and ruined the original probes. Bought these as a replacement. They work fine BUT... I was using two probes in two identical pieces of meat. As I inserted them each in their own location before the smoking the readings were off by over 20 degrees. I thought wow... I would have never guessed these two meats were so different. So I reversed the probes, yep still 20+ degrees different reading only now the warmer piece of meat is the 20+ degrees cooler. I left them in, finished the cook by watching just the higher temp... the lower one never did read accurately. Basically, if it doesn't read accurately it's worthless.

I've purchased these before, great replacements
I have a wireless therm pro meat thermometer. Eventually the probes go bad, the wires get flexed a lot. Have some spares. The spares I've purchased lasted longer than the originals. Seems accurate using boiling water at 1000ft altitude to check them. BP lowers one degree F per 500 feet, I was a degree off. Good enough for baking and grilling.

Perfect replacement probe for ThermoPro TP-16
I've had the ThermoPro TP-16 for a few years, and the temp probe started acting wonky (that's a technical term ;-) ). It's been through a lot of use, washings, sometimes the cable gets abused... anyway, needed to be replaced. The base TP-16 unit is fine, just the probe was shot after heavy use. This was a 2-pack of probes, and they are well-made, and immediately worked perfectly (I NEVER roast without this... and roasts are now ALWAYS perfect). As a two-fer, I'll keep one as a backup (and try to treat them a little less rough). I expect to get another 5+ years out of these.
