Getfarway LED Under Hood Light & Wiring
Bought to add to my 13 Ram 2500 since mine never came with under hood light so this was perfect. Install was a breeze to hook up to oem harness.

Everything match perfect, the only issue I have is the clip that hold the light, stick out to much to close the light , I when to buy a different push clip for that,

Good idea...poor execution
The idea is cool, but you can't even close the light once the push tab is installed. The retainer is either too big or the cavity once closed is too small. Unfortunately I will be returning and trying a different brand.

2018 ram 1500
My truck did not come with a light under the hood so i am adding this one. First I had to figure out..but the truck came standard with a faux plug to keep the adapter clean from debris and dirt. Simply remove it using needlenose pliers or alike to pull it out. This product is not made well. what I did to modify..i drilled out the hole on flat part that attaches to truck hood. I had some plastic retainer clips laying around that were slightly larger than the hole. so i drilled out hole a little bit to make retainer clip fit. Then i had to drill a little bit out of hole (1-2 rotations at most) in the metal hood part. The retainer clips I had ..had two heads on it...i cut off the top head so that the light would lay flush inside the clip/light area. In the images below, i drilled hole out some and used a retainer clip with only the one head so its flat. once I drilled out the holes, the light then clicked into place correctly. the plug end faces up, then curve the wiring harness back up and around and hold it in place using the ties that came with it. they fit correctly. You have 5 ties and 5 holes. Everything else lined up correctly. Hopefully this will help others. Otherwise you may want to consider buying a Mopar product. The light is nice and bright and does turn off automatically when hood is closed.

Adds plenty of light to engine bay
I installed two under my Cherokee XJ hood. Really lights up the engine compartment. Easy install. Comes with zip tie clips. Nice Kit.
