Magna-Lite Illuminated Hand Magnifier 5X

We had inherited one of these Magna-lites when my father in law passed away in 2005. My husband used it a lot until it finally quit working. He was glad to find the same brand again. It’s easy to use & you can keep the light on with the switch or just use it as a magnifying glass.

Super cheap design, handy but on-off switch not reliable. The design hasn't changed in 25 years.

The first on I recieved did not work. I reached out to seller and they sent another it works perfect. Thanks for great customer service. Great item really magnifies what you ar looking at.

I couldn't believe it when I used this for the fist time! You know, when You need to give the expiration date to a merchant over the phone, and you have one of those lovely credit cards that they have hidden the numbers from your poor old (sigh) eyes from? With this, they illiminate and pop out at you SO clearly you can hardly contain yourself! I just cant say enough about houw happy I have been with this product. It truly lives up to it's promises and then some and it is more than worth it's price.

I had one of these for over 10 years and works perfect. I was happy to find the exact same here. Will use this one in my garage.

The lens was distorted so I had to send it back, I have purchased two of these in the past that worked well, but quality is poor now.

I ordered the 5x and 10x to do initial looks at cracks in materials. It works as expected.

My first Magna Lite 5x magnifier was purchased from an office supply store in the mid 90's. After all of these years of daily use, it finally died last week. In record shipping time, I received its replacement yesterday.In addition to all of the uses suggested on the packaging, I have found this to be the IDEAL grooming aid (especially for that errant eyebrow and nose hair).The Magna Lite Illuminated Hand Magnifier 5x isn't frilly and isn't fancy. It's a magnifer, with a light. It does exactly what it was designed to do - and does it very well!!!UPDATE:Unfortunately, this magnifier does not retain the quality of my original, which was purchased in the mid 90's. There is apparently a battery contact issue, resulting in the light flickering - which is annoying. Even firm pressure does not solve this problem. Also, the case does not close completely - and even then requires prying with a screwdriver to get open.
