3M 4910 VHB Tape: 1 in x 15 ft. (Clear)

I was recommended this tape for securing some metal sailtrack to my caravan. Whist I was initially a little sceptical that it would do the job, I could not have been more wrong. This tape is so secure, if I pull on it after fixing the sailtrack to the van, I can make the van rock from side to side - it has incredible strength, and I will use this for future fixings.

This excellent tape, it sticks. I've used 3m tape for years when a weld would mess up my art piece. The trick is to completely rub the plastic coating to get a good bond and use a sharp object to carefully remove it, then join the steel and clamp it or put a heavy weight on it. For heavy work I'll add some glue near the tape.

Super strong. Works so well you can rip paint off a wall if you're not careful. Advise to go light on things you care about such as painted walls because this stuff is amazingly sticky. Pro tip: use a heat gun or hair drier to remove this without damaging your walls.

Used this on top of some adhesives to hold an antique mirror project up. So far, its still holding on. No complaints.

I used this to apply a seal that goes between my truck bed and tailgate. The tape that came with it didn't stay stuck for very long at all. This tape has been on there for a month or so now and it's mostly still sticking. The 4 star rating is because there are a couple of small areas where it's starting to come up.
