This is my first experience of this style of skin deep cleaning device, I’ve tried various other products for removing sebum and clogged pores including the vacuum type but none have been very effective. This device is a whole different story and I’m so impressed with ho well it ‘encourages’ sebum, debris and gunk out of my pores. The unit comes with a little stand that it sits in to charge. It didn’t take long to charge up first time as it came partially charged and I’ve topped up before each use and it’s taken less than an hour each time. The design of the scrubber is nice, it’s easy to hold and is fairly compact and sleek and seems reasonably well made. The functions are easy to use and the instructions that come with it are a little brief but understandable and can be followed easily enough. The spatula needs to be used on damp skin and it suggests steaming your face before use which would of course aid the pores to open. I found using a face cloth soaked in hot water and wrung out worked well and then I used a little dish of water to dip my finger in and wet the section of my face I’m working on, I found having the skin quite wet worked the best as it is the water that seems to bring the sebum and debris out of the pores. I also found you don’t need to apply much pressure and going slowly got a good result additionally using the corner of the spatula for creases such as around the nose or for particularly clogged pores worked very well. The spatula has an automatic shut off after several minutes but is easy enough to turn back on again to continue cleansing. How long it takes to treat your face will depend on whether you have any problem areas but I spend between 30-40 mins for a full face, it’s a bit addictive seeing the gunk getting magically levitated out of your pores! I was surprised by how much the spatula removed from my skin, I’ve been using it a couple of times a week and I can see a marked difference in the appearance of my skin. I’m thrilled to have found something that actually works and is gentle, I would 100% recommend.

Causes harm to skin when used even by following the instructions. The products removed the first layer of skin leaving behind scabby looking skin, doesn’t do what it’s supposed to
