Macs got better since last I was here.
Hi! I'm an old computer user who started out on the Texas Instruments 99/4A back in the 80s. I've had Tandy computers, IBM originals, Commodore computers, and I've built PCs myself since the late 1980s back when it wasn't easy or fashionable. And yes, I used older Apple computers, and classic Macs. In the 90s I went through a Mac-only phase. I had the colorful iMac, a couple PowerBooks, the lamp iMac, a Mac clone, even a clamshell iBook (and honestly, I loved that stupid thing. It was definitely the most unique laptop I've ever owned.) But after a while, I moved away from Apple's computers because the price was a major issue. I was also more into gaming and Macs weren't that great for gaming at that time. But one thing I did do on my Macs, before I took a break from it for a while, was music production. I produced a few albums and released them. I created some great music on my Macs. So the last couple decades I've been on Windows. I still have Windows computers, but I've learned in that time that while there are lots of things I love about PCs and Windows, music production on Windows isn't one of those things I love. In fact, it's kind of like pulling teeth. You can do it, and you can even do it very well, but you have to spend a lot of money, a lot of time setting it up to get exactly what you want, and a lot of effort to make Windows behave and let you work uninterrupted. So when I got back into making music (it only took a divorce and a decade of self-reflection and support from loved ones, right?) I gave it a shot on Windows, and it went... Okay. Just okay. It was more work than I wanted it to be, and it wasn't as friendly as I remembered it being on my Macs. So I decided this year I would take advantage of the ability to finance things, and I gave myself a Yuletide present: A Mac mini. I'll be paying for it for a year, but so far, it's been worth it. First: Mac OS Sequoia is really nice. Still familiar to me after a couple decades (I left sometime around Lion, I think) but with a lot of streamlining, and a much more robust App Store that-- What? Allows you to use iPhone apps on your Mac? How cool is that? Second: As expected, very easy to set up. I mean, I guess that's a given. Macs just work. Third: Did I mention this was a refurbished Mac? I mean, I'm not surprised I forgot, because honestly, it arrived looking brand new. Sealed box, totally pristine Mac, everything works, and it's even covered by AppleCare for a while. I'm very pleased. Especially since I saved a few bucks going this way. Fourth: FAST shipping. Thanks for that. I was worried I'd have to wait as long as Amazon estimated, and then it arrived four days earlier! Yay! So yeah, to segue a bit... This is a low-powered Mac mini. I mean, it's an 8GB RAM, 256GB unit. And these M2 2023 Mac minis are NOT upgradeable. That's a major bummer, but I knew about it going in. That said, the 8GB isn't holding me back (yet), and the storage space is easily remedied with external storage devices. But it was me dipping my toe back into Mac-land, and you know, it's enticing. In a few years I might go for something bigger, but this did solidify my resolve: If you're going to do anything with music, or several other types of artwork (video, digital art, etc.) the Mac is the better choice for a dedicated work computer. I still use Windows PCs for some other stuff (especially gaming and my video library) but I'm going to keep my eye on Macs. Five stars. A good investment if you want to get some work done.

Great investment
After a while using it all I can say is that I’m highly surprised. The price was great, and the product is amazing it’s exactly what I was looking for. Its refurbished but it 100% works. It has a few scratches, but I don’t mind as long as it works. It’s a great investment since I needed a personal computer that would allow me to do basic stuff such as writing and browsing, it also works with apple’s ecosystem, so everything is synced thanks to iCloud. Productivity at its best if you have an iPad and an iPhone.

Perfect little computer! Especially if you are an Apple disciple.
Shhh... I have like 3 of these things! They are relatively inexpensive. Work like a champ. Easy to setup. (Monitors are a cakewalk to pick up. Seriously, go to your neighbor, ask them for a free monitor. I bet they have one!) Tuck this little gem anywhere. I use it for my TV! I use it in the kitchen (also as a TV) and to pull up recipes and settle arguments. Lastly, my son uses one (also as a TV) and for school! (I am also a good parent!)

I had a flawless experience with this seller
Not sure why this seller has so-so reviews, my experience was flawless and I’m very happy with my purchase. I purchased a MacMini M2 in “acceptable refurbished” condition. Appearance / Condition- small scuff on the body of the case. This is expected when you buy a product that is listed as “acceptable” condition. Functionality- the hardware specs match the description. Mac OS fired up immediately, I entered my new user information, logged into iCloud, and began using the Mac within 10 minutes. Nice clean OS, and new product experience. Shipping- lightening fast shipping through UPS, with a tracking number. I received the item a week earlier than expected. Communication- I reached out with a couple of presale product questions and the seller responded within a hour or so with a detailed response. Bottom line- If you want a good deal, buy from this seller. Just be reasonable- if you buy “acceptable” condition, expect a few small blemishes along with a perfectly working product with no hardware issues.

Great deal on a great Apple product
My son wanted a Mac to use for personal computing. I was able to find this great deal on used Mac mini. The Mac was in great condition and started up with no issue. I was able to update to the latest macOS software and it has connected to all my peripherals without issue.

Excellent service l
No issue with Mac mini. I was having trouble with my apple display. Quality of the mini is expected for a refurbished/used condition that it’s in. I thought that the cord wasn’t with the package so they sent me another one. Their service is excellent even though I found it after I sent the message.

Says refurbished, but packaging looks like a new unit. No marks or flaws I could find. Boots right up and upgraded to Sonoma. Debating whether to go to Tahoe. I prefer this size to the smaller new Mini, performance is pretty good with the M2 chip. Works with my older peripheral disks and printer. Has two USB-A size ports, plus Thunderbolt ports. You can use older USB devices in the Thunderbolt ports with a USB adapter, works fine but you get the slower speed.

I ordered the 2023 Apple Mac Mini with the M2 chip (Renewed) and honestly, I couldn’t be happier! Even though it was listed as renewed, what I received looks and performs completely brand new — not a single mark or flaw anywhere. The setup was smooth and fast, and the M2 chip makes everything incredibly quick and responsive. It’s whisper-quiet, compact, and fits perfectly on my desk. Apps open instantly, multitasking is effortless, and it handles all my daily tasks with ease. The 8GB RAM and 256GB SSD combo deliver great performance for both work and entertainment. If you’re hesitant about buying a renewed Mac — don’t be! This feels like it just came straight from Apple. Excellent value and performance — 100% recommended!

I bought this because I wanted to have a dedicated little machine for music production. I'm not a pro by any stretch, I'm just a hobbyist that wants to learn, but I grabbed this and started playing around in GarageBand and Reaper on it. I set it up in the same room as all my gear so anything I want to try I can just grab and test out easily. It's been great just for learning, runs pretty smoothly, and didn't break the bank to buy. I might need to upgrade later but it serves my needs just fine for now.
